My 2016 Forest River Travel Trailer's LP detector began beeping at random intervals, and it wasn't because there was a gas leak. My original Safe T Alert LP Gas Detector had reached the end of its useful life. br>br>I am pleased to learn that this is new stock, as I ordered it on November 8, 2021. Two plastic wall anchors and two mounting screws were included in this kit. br>br> br>br>At this time, everything appears to be in working order; we will update the review if anything unexpected occurs. br>br>Here's to another 5 years of LP gas detection and protection. Continue to be cautious.
When I received my unit, it was marked with a 2017 date. br>The unit is two-thirds of the way through its five-year warranty. br>I paid full price for a unit that is half-expired. br>I'm not pleased.
For LP detection, I'm sure it'll suffice. When I got it, I realized it wasn't a carbon monoxide detector. It's not something I'd recommend for an RV. br>br>Please keep in mind that this is only an LP detector; it does not detect CO.

This makes me angry. This "new item's" date code is already two and a half years old right out of the box, and they recommend replacing it every five years, so I'm paying full price for half life?.
My carbon monoxide and propane sniffers were decided to be kept separate.
It really works. These are a good substitute for the one that has gone bad and is driving you insane.
