Sorry, I'm not sure what model it is, but it was a direct replacement for the one that came with my Keystone Sprinter.
In February of 2020, I bought my own. The device was created in November of this year. It was a dead ringer for the one I had to replace. As a result, new units are dispatched. not the ones that have gone bad.
That's correct. All carbon and propane gas detectors have a small amount of radioactive curium in them, which is named after Madam Curie. The device stops working when the radioactive substance is depleted due to age. The non- In addition, radioactive devices have a 5-year lifespan.
It did, in fact, take the place of the camper's on.

Install time is only five minutes. Make sure you read the instructions before proceeding; I did not. Following the connection, I began to notice a red and green light flashing every 30 seconds, indicating that the unit was malfunctioning. I contacted the manufacturer, who informed me that they had received numerous calls regarding the same issue. I should send it back for a replacement, according to the instructions. As a result, I began the process of returning. Oh, well. After that, I began to read the directions. My Outback Travel Trailler was not connected to a 120-volt outlet at the time, and my RV's battery was low. This issue is caused by a low battery in your RV. I cancelled the Amazon return and replacement order. The operation of the unit is explained. (Refer to the S T U P I D instruction. ).
We couldn't figure out why our smoke detector went off every couple of hours even though we weren't using our RV's furnace or gas. We double-checked our RV's battery and found it to be in good working order. (Because the detector operates on a 12 volt system, it will sound an alarm if the battery is weak or dead. ) We didn't think the detector was out of date because our RV was less than three years old, but there was no date on it and no other explanation. So, in order to get a good night's sleep, hubby disconnected the wires and we placed an order for a new one. It's got a date on it, fits perfectly on the existing mounting plate, and we'll be able to sleep soundly tonight!.
This was purchased to replace an old RV detector that had begun to "misbehave. " My installation was simple: (1) remove the old device from its wall mount, (2) remove the wire connector caps, (3) connect the new detector, and (4) place the new detector on the old wall mount. NOTE: Because the wiring on this unit has a short exposure, a wire stripper will almost certainly be required - Especially if your RV's wire connector caps are replaced with electrical tape.
441- Propane/LP Gas Alarm from WT Safe T Alert 20 Series. This is the second one I've had to replace since purchasing my current RV. They say to replace them every 5 years, but the last one began beeping and flashing an error light after just over 5 years. Because it only lasted three years, the first one may have been on a RV lot. I like them a lot. Just keep in mind that the sensor isn't indestructible (much like the RV Anode Rod in the Water Heater Tank that the RV dealer fails to inform you about). I had it go off once when I removed the stove top to install solar wiring and there must have been a small amount of residual LP gas in the line (main gas had been turned off), which the MTI detected despite my lack of smell.
It was simple to install in my RV because I already had 12 volt wiring under the bed. My batteries appear to be depleted by this device. I have 450 amp hour batteries that have been well maintained and are only a few years old, and they are powered by 200 watts of solar power and a PWM charge controller. My batteries are down to around 70% every morning and the only thing connected to them is this LP gas detector which is hard wired and runs all the time . I suppose you I'm not sure if any unit would put this much of a drain on a battery bank or if I have another drain.
The item was purchased on Amazon on June 4th, 2016, with a production date of March 10th. Today is the LAST DAY OF LIFE. For the price, it should last at least 11 months; read the other reviews before contacting the company. I was let down. I wish I had half a star to give. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: On 5/9/17, I called the company and they said they would send a replacement. If they do, I'll lower my rating.
441- Propane/LP Gas Alarm, WT Safe T Alert 20 Series - In December of 2019, a white alarm was installed, and it stopped working in July of the following year. I only had to call Amazon customer service once, and they were able to contact the manufacturer and obtain a replacement alarm for me. They sent it to me for free and delivered it the next day; you can't beat that!.
This was simple to set up, performs as expected, and comes at a fair price. Please, if you have an RV, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, If your gas monitor fails, replace it with this one. It comes with two wires that are clearly marked and have already been stripped on the ends for installation. This small device could save your life, so please replace your broken one as soon as possible. This gas monitor is highly recommended for RVs!.
