It's quite difficult to remove, and I had to do so with my nails. Though the size of the outlet, whether wide or tight, may play a role.

These only add about 3 seconds to the time it takes for my two-year-old to complete a task. He can easily pull them out with his tiny finger because the plastic is too smooth.
These do the job; they plug the outlet to prevent a child from inserting objects into it. They DO NOT, however, have any "friction" surfaces, which would make it a little more difficult for a toddler to remove them. br>br>My 12-month-old can easily remove them with no effort. br>br>If the part that inserts into the outlet had some "tabs/tangs" on it to provide some resistance to removal, it would at least make it more difficult. br>br>At the moment, these are useless because a toddler can easily remove them.
This product about 2075% is useless to me. As you can see in the video, my 12-month-old can take them out in less than 4 seconds. I continue to give the outlet covers 25% utility because it prevents babies from sticking things in the socket. So these covers do slow the baby down and give the parent a few extra seconds to react. br>br>Perhaps it's because I live in an old house and the outlets I have are different? I'm not sure, but I'll keep looking for a different outlet cover!.
Based on some other reviews, I was concerned about how simple it would be to remove these for my child. I watched him attack an outlet for two minutes and he couldn't even come close to pulling the plugs out of the socket. The quality of the plugs was my second concern; if they were cheap, the prongs could easily snap off in my outlet when I removed them. These, on the other hand, appear to be well-made, as one has never cracked after being repeatedly removed. I'll definitely order some more for the rest of my house, and it was well worth the extra money over the super cheap ones on Amazon.
However, when I installed these, I was disappointed to find that they still appear white, albeit less so than opaque ones. br>br>However, they go well with the rest of my white outlets, so I kept them. From across the room, you can't tell they're there. They're a lot nicer than the white Safety 1st ones I had from my first child. When you try to remove your fingernails, they don't rip them off, which I appreciate. Other covers I've used are so difficult to remove that I'd rather take out the entire outlet because I can't use them. I'm satisfied with the level of safety because it would take a baby a long time to remove them on their own, and since no childproofing product is meant to replace adult supervision, I'm satisfied with the level of safety. br>br>Overall, a great product, and I'd recommend it if you're not trying to cover dark covered outlets discreetly.
These were purchased to keep drafts out of unoccupied outlets' holes in the wall plate. Not only do they work well, but the clear plastic, which is both flexible and durable, makes them almost unnoticeable. These have made me very happy. Don't be hesitant to use these in the winter to keep drafts at bay. It's a lot better than the tan masking tape I was using to cover the unused outlet holes.
However, I purchased these with the intention of using them with outdoor Christmas lights. Because the wiring is exposed to water outside, I use these to fill in any unused areas before covering with electrical tape. I omit the tape in some cases where there is little risk of rain or snow getting too close to the wiring. These are strong and long-lasting, and they cover a lot of ground around the outlets. It was a great buy.
year- It's no longer a concern for the elderly. Clear enough that the outlet does not appear to be covered at first glance, which I like; great quality plastic that bends without snapping; tough enough to be reused multiple times. The quality and quantity received were excellent for the price. Jool Baby, you did an outstanding job!.
