If you break off one of the back side posts, it will work, but one of the ground holes are in a different place on a GFCI outlet than a standard outlet, so you can only secure it with one post.
The primes were not done by me. In spite of that, I did paint them with two light coats. A very fine sanding was also done on them
The faceplates are not glossy white like a faceplate they are either white or off-white. Due to the surface's porous nature, it has a dull finish. Paint can be applied to them to improve their appearance.
I am afraid they are only able to cover standard duplex outlets (two plugs).

I had to figure out their origins, what they were made from, will they cause a fire, etc. , so this process took a long time. The fact that they're made in the USA is a plus for me. This is a safer and more convenient method than the hot outlets) There is less chance of melting or damaging the outlet if it gets stuck or breaks off, unlike some others. This stuff stays in place superbly well, but you must be careful not to confuse it with They cannot be removed by our toddler. However, we always ensured that the software was installed and properly configured When they are not in the room, remove them. This kind of cover covers the whole outlet (and sometimes the whole cover) when it is installed. They look very clean. I've ordered these items, they've been delivered so quickly, sometimes within 24 hours! For us, this is a superior product that we're very happy to have learned about.
Using them for babyproofing is a great idea! Our system has been tampered with It is not safe to use broken glass receptacles in our home with a baby in it. We have even tried to find the best way to dispose of them. Our concern was that sliding covers have been reported to cause fires, and we were also uncertain whether plugging traditional plug protectors in would be safe. Rather than plugging into the hot and neutral holes, these covers plug into the grounding holes We do not worry about them being a fire hazard, and their appearance is pretty bland - so we aren't bothered. There is no decoration or logo on this product - smooth and unadorned They are much less interesting to our baby than uncovered outlets or plug protectors, so we should not use them. As of now, they haven't been painted and we may never paint them Our white trim in our home makes them blend well enough with them, and they look nice without being overpowering. It's too early for baby to attempt to pull these out, because she is still crawling and doesn't yet have the fine motor skills to do so. We'll see how they work once she is fully crawling though. At the moment, she sometimes rolls over to them and pats them with her hands or feet, but quickly loses interest. They seem to feel very comfortable with her.
I bought this and installed it, and it fit perfectly over the outlet and cover. For me, removing it isn't difficult, but it requires just enough effort that I am not concerned my daughter will be able to move it in the near future. Some other ones may be a little more affordable, but I really like that this is made in the USA, as well as the fact that it uses the prongs instead of only Many of its competitors do not appear to be as durable or to stay in place as long as it.
I did initially notice that my toddler seemed to be interested in it, but he was never able to pull it out since it is very snug and takes some strength and dexterity Aesthetically, this is so much more attractive than those individual covers for outlet switches. The only thing missing is a coaxial outlet and a phone jack, but that should be easy to add.
We've noticed that our 14 month old has been getting into things she shouldn't be for quite some time. I have a feeling she can get the outlet covers out better than we adults can. For protection from little hands getting into trouble, these Coverplugs are a great way to cover up the whole outlet plate. A very helpful place for us is near the crib - this is especially useful for us during growth spurts. As she grew older, I began to be worried that she would pull the covers out in the middle of the night when she realized there was an outlet along the wall of her crib. She can no longer gain access to any areas of the house with the Coverplug! Please accept my sincere thanks!.
We modified these and they work just fine for us. Baby (18 months old) has the fine motor skills of an adult, so he popped them off in less than 30 seconds, so hubby placed them with clear silicone. These outlets are extremely useful for those of us who do not use them, and the silicone can be removed later if needed. The sound of blood is horribly red He could not remove outlet safety covers due to his neck, but nothing else prevented him. In case anyone is in the same position as me, I thought I'd share.
Thought it was a 5 star review! My husband and I got these to baby-proof the house. They're super easy to set up. Just plug them in. This style is better looking than the ones that go into the individual plugs!.
This is a WAY too easy cap to remove due to how it goes over an outlet. It is NOT a good choice for.
