I bought several packs of these to replace every outlet in my new house. I thought that this was the safest solution for baby proofing the house. The plastic outlet covers are great if you don't use the outlet, but do not address the fact that even a determined child can unplug a night-light without any help or assistance There's a spot to plug into a light or other item and you can easily plug in anything there. I didn't have to ask my husband for help when installing them! We will probably leave them in after the baby grows up, since they are so cute. Several more are on their way to replace all the ones we have in stock. With this, the house will look more modern and the yellow plug outlets will be covered. Pets and kids are also able to use it with no problems. As a bonus, it won't let in drafts through the inner walls, so I think it will be energy efficient.

I have had no issues with them so far. In case the original electrical outlets are not installed perfectly, they operate just fine. However, if the outlet is not flush with the surrounding wall, or sticks out a little, then there may not be a secure connection between the outlet and the wall,.
