The paint is hard to see and They are very well hidden, so it is nearly impossible to see them when they are in the room. This can be a bit unnerving if they are across the room. The small size makes them difficult to remove and there isn't a gripping surface to grab on to. My child's nails are cut so I do not cut/scratch them, so I don't have much leverage with which to get these out of my child. Of course I would not want them easily removable either, but at least a small tab would make things much easier, as long as it isn't too easy for children to remove. I agree with you, although There are no worries about little fingers getting tangled in them, they are secure in the outlet, and they do the job!.
This was a great product, it was a good value, and it exceeded my expectations. All around the house I tried plugging them into different outlets and surge protectors. My satisfaction with these is quite high. It is possible to paint a few of the covers to match the switch plates so they won't be appealing to the children. In the near future, I will update. My overall opinion of the product is positive.
Initially, I thought that these would be a great idea, and in fact they do attach to the outlets perfectly, but they're a pain There have been two times when the outlet has been damaged. Our team had to replace the whole outlet box on one of them since we couldn't remove one of the outlets. I'm grateful my husband is handy, otherwise we would have called an electrician, which would have cost a lot more money. This is one handy thing you can do yourself instead of waiting for someone else to do it. Purchase these items at your own risk.

After the first one broke and I tried to switch them all out, I had a second break even though I was extremely careful. After swapping those plugs out, I was able to continue working.
