The installation of the high-pressure relief valve resulted in a leak

Everything worked as it should, and the installation was simple, but the high pressure relief valve was leaking 3 DPM within the seat area during the initial leak test. We stroked the disc a few times but couldn't get it to work, so we replaced it with an old 40-year piece that had been removed. Pump switches were set to 32/60 PSI, and I believe the relief was set to 170 PSI. It's possible it was a factory-damaged seat.
