Is anyone using this unit to run a pump that isn't a Franklin?

This unit will only work with Franklin branded pumps, according to both the manufacturer and the seller (Vertikal).

Will a float be controlled by this unit if it is wired to it? If that's the case, how should it be wired?

If you connect the switch to your L1 in series, either upstream or downstream of the pumptec, you'll get the best results. With what you're trying to achieve, your float must be wired to open the circuit. My well pump loses power when mine opens at a high level.

ONLY FRANKLIN ELECTRIC BRAND PUMPS ARE COMPATIBLE WITH THIS UNIT! br>br>This Pumptec unit's wording needs to be updated by the seller (and the manufacturer). This unit will not only work with Franklin Electric pumps, according to the Amazon listing or the user manual. Although I'm not sure if this is a change, FE and Vertikal both confirmed it. br>br>Another thing to take into consideration: Keep an eye out for the model number. This listing's image depicts the wrong version. It displays the model 5800020611, which is equipped with an infrared remote. This version will not be sent to you. br>br>I've reached the end of the return window. If the seller corrects the situation and accepts the return, I will update my rating.

PLUS pumptec Asap should be used in its place

No longer works with flotec pumps, and no one has said anything. I need the pumptec plus for my flotec pump. I'm hoping the seller is pleasant and willing to assist me in replacing it with the correct Plus model. Currently, the pump is turned off in the middle of the night. I'm not a happy BnB guest, and I'm not a happy BnB guest, either.
