I would like to inform you that the capacitor is rated for 105 volts With 126 MFD, the Franklin 1 is the largest airplane ever built. The control box is 5 HP and is 230 V. I'd like to send my best wishes to Scott,
It is likely that you have little experience working with 220 volt equipment if you do not know how to find a replacement relay. There is danger associated with a capacitor, since it can store a charge for a long period of time. Whenever possible, it should be grounded carefully so as not to leave any residual charge behind. Before working on any circuits, make sure the 220v circuit breaker is off and that the voltage is checked with a volt meter. You need to find the part number after you remove the old relay. This requires a double throw relay rated at about 40 amps at 220 volts. It is indeed dangerous work, and even expert HVAC repairmen have managed to kill themselves if they are not careful. After you have the part number for a replacement relay, you can search on Amazon or at digikey for one.
It's a good morning, the enclosures and are made from steel. From the factory, there is no option to customize the enclosures. In light of this, it is possible to put this box inside another enclosure if corrosion occurs. I'd like to send my best wishes to Scott,

Control boxes like this one were used for irrigation of my lawn and ran daily (it was off for a few months during the cold season) for 30 minutes per station, and I had 11 of them. I started my system in March and everything went well for about a month. By April, the unit A push of the left main button on the bottom of the unit brought the machine to a halt When the box was removed and the Fluke 287 meter was used to test everything, it revealed that the main control switch did not work. As I have not been able to locate a replacement switch, I am now forced to purchase yet I would not recommend Franklin since there is no warranty if you are doing it yourself. I was extremely disappointed with how quickly this box failed.
As a result of a failed start relay coil in an older identical unit, I needed a new one before the communal reservoir ran dry in five Even though I could buy the relay by myself, it would take a week to ship. My order of this control box shipped on Wednesday and arrived on Thursday noon after it was placed at noon on Tuesday. In the evening of Thursday, I switched out the relay and charged the reservoir by running the well pump overnight. There was no loss of As a result, I can now order the relay at my own convenience, and have a full set of spare parts on hand for the next lightning strike. Franklin Electric makes good well pump control boxes, and Hardware & Supply makes good lighting rods. Fast delivery is a priority at Garden Supplies. As a side note, I paid an extra 13 bucks to get standard shipping instead of free delivery.
It's a good product that works well and was delivered quickly. There is one issue, this unit claims to be an outdoor unit and is rated and classified as an outdoor unit. The mounting flanges are all there. A huge number of holes, however, are on the back of the can. Since rain has been getting into the box, damage has been being done to components. This is my second time installing a control panel in the past two years (plus a capacitor replacement in the interim). I would recommend the end-user apply and maintain silicone in the factory holes before using the wall for an outdoor application.
A problem I was having was the reset button on the control box kept tripping. It would only run for a few seconds before tripping again after it was reset. A number of capacitors in the old box were not properly tested A control box with a 5 hp motor (2004 on the label) cost almost double what it cost now. I spoke with a local irrigation company and the 1 hp motor cost 90 percent less than this box. My sprinklers and shower are now working like they should after I swapped out the old failed box for number 5. It took less than 10 minutes to swap out the old failed box and I was up and running in no time.
I am very pleased with the performance of this control box. After an electrical storm, I couldn't get my well to work. There was power going to my pressure switch and into my control box, but I didn't have power coming out of it. Since none of the other control boxes were available for a 1 1/2 horsepower well pump, I ordered this one. My order was placed on Saturday night, and I received the new controller on Monday. I am very happy with how fast shipping is.
It was lightning that damaged something in my old control box, the start relay, so I had to keep hitting overload reset buttons to turn the pump on Now that it has been replaced with this updated box, the system is back to normal.
An intermittent problem affected our water well. One of the capacitors and a reset switch were borderline damaged. We decided to replace the entire unit since it was the most economical option. I was surprised at how quickly it arrived and how quickly it could be installed. I really like it.
I suspect it was sold and then returned, although it looked used. This is the first time I've tried it out and it works just fine with It is really easy to install 5HP Submersible Water Well Pump. Thank you. Franklin has been and will continue to be a great electrician's brand.
