My old tank was also an air over water type, and I was tired of having to recharge it every time the power went out and the tank ran dry. Assuming that your water line is the same size as your old tank (which it most likely is), it should be able to replace it with no modifications to your system.
A pre- The terms "pressurized tank" and "pressure tank" are interchangeable. The proper operation of a pressure tank necessitates the presence of air pressure. Pre- The term "pressurized" simply refers to the fact that the tank has been pre-charged with air before being shipped. It usually has a pressure of 38 psi. If you buy a pressure tank that doesn't come with any air pressure, you'll need to add it before installing it. In our cabin/home application, the WX 203 pressure tank performs admirably. I hope this information is useful.
The manufacturer's warranty on this tank is standard at 7 years. If you have any additional questions, please contact us. Thank you, Abundant Flow Waterbr>785-br> 735- 9769
Your pump will run a little slower, but the water pressure will be determined by the pressure switch and the amount of air pressure you put in the tank prior to installation. Your pipes will last longer if the pressure is lower. If you have any questions about the setup, the company's website has helpful installation videos as well as advice on the different types of pressure switches to use and how much air pressure to put in the tank for each switch.

In the house, there isn't much water pressure. Because time ran out before December 2nd, the tank was installed on November 22nd, and it arrived damaged, much to my surprise. , which we didn't realize until after the old tank had been removed and the new box had been opened! These tanks are supposed to be "new," but there is no mention of damage in the advertisement. It wouldn't be so bad if it was just a small dent, but it's quite large, and the paint is scraped, leading me to believe that in an old basement, the scraped paint will rust and possibly rot from the outside. I contacted Amazon, who in turn contacted the seller. br>As of December, there have been no changes. 13, 2019 I contacted Amazon a second time about this damaged water tank, but have yet to hear back from the Seller, thus my one star rating. If I had the option of giving no stars, I would do so.
If the tanks are working properly, they are fine; however, if they aren't, you should expect AMROL to be a problem. They're extremely difficult to manage. They are not a company I would buy from again.
It was well worth the money. My previous Well x Trol had a 32-year service life. I didn't think to buy one on Amazon, but after looking at other options, I discovered that most were out of stock and would take months to arrive. It was available on Amazon and arrived in a matter of days. The tank tee kit was also purchased. Don't waste your time with other brands or the subpar tanks sold at big box stores. Just a quick aside. A small dent in the top of the tank was included. I contacted the seller, who was extremely helpful in resolving the problem. Everything is in order. (It's not a pun).
There were no issues with the shipping. Dents on the inside of a box that is otherwise undamaged.
This tank is far superior to anything I could find in any of my local stores. Any visible welds are the result of skilled hands, and it appears to be of higher quality than my previous tank. Anyone who has ever used hard well water knows how quickly these things wear out, but you should be able to pull 5-gallon buckets with ease. This tank has served me well for the past seven years. Pre-charged to perfection. Simply rip out the old one and replace it with this one, and you're ready to go.
This tank is fantastic. a new design- Downtime went from 18 seconds with the old 35 gallon tank to 2 minutes with the new one. Unfortunately, when I arrived at my daughter's house to replace her tank, the base had significant peeling paint, which I did not have time to repair. Also, the bottom of the base appears to be missing a trim ring, which can be seen in the photo. A higher level of quality control is required.
It was well worth the money! I purchased the WX 203 to replace an identical model that had been in my possession for at least 20 years. The only reason for replacing the old tank was that the plumbing leading to it was in poor condition, and it seemed like a good time to do so! The package was delivered on time and in good condition. There were no issues during installation. It's been a few months since I've used it, and it's still going strong. Three "weekend" cabins and one "full-time" house are served by this well.
Like many other reviews, mine had a dent in the top, which I ignored. Because the packing was excellent and the box was perfect, this occurred prior to shipping. br>The tank wouldn't sit level without some massaging because the bottom flange was bent. br>This is the third WX-sponsored event. I installed the 203 in a 21-year-old house, so both old units have an average life of ten years. Because it's sized for a home and has the same plumbing connections, I decided to stick with the same model.
