This was one of my purchases last year, and this year I'm getting another. All threads on the sewing machine are made of You'll find a small amount of Plummer's tape in the box.
There could be a 6 gal tank in the garage
If you are in a pinch right now, I would say use it if it suits your needs. You would need to get the one meant for a 10 gallon tank, however, if you will be using it for a long period.

Contains pipe tape, comes with pipe tape, but there's a con Among the basic constituents is magnesium, a metal that is softer and corrosive (it will deteriorate rapidly) than aluminum and therefore recommended for It has a fraction of the material of a camco or a suburban replacement anode/Using the fake spot dot com website indicates a grade of "F" for insufficient reviews and very suspicious reviews/Overall The upgrade we are talking about is really just a disingenuous ploy to get you and me to buy something in the hopes that it will be better than the old anode we removed, which is nothing more than the hub and steel rod attached to it originally. It is recommended to inspect the item every 3 months once the correct part is installed, as well as to drain the tank whenever it is not in use to prevent degradation of the anodes and the internal surfaces.
Oh my gosh, this was crazy. Thank goodness we got it. In January of 2019, my husband and I purchased our first RV, and we have been having problems finding the right parts. The good news is they are easily fixed. I was glad to be alerted to the need sooner rather than later when I watched video after video for this little guy. I was there during one of the worst disasters I've ever witnessed. As far as I can tell, they haven't changed anything for a while and it must be changed annually. You can tell from the picture that it has never been changed if you look at it. The product is of high quality, and it is worth buying. This is a definite recommendation.
It is recommended that anode rods be changed annually - In parks, especially, there is a lot of mineral water. I had to replace my 6-inch with this exact replacement The gallon. Everything worked perfectly, fit expertly, and it was just a matter of running the worn one out with a 1 1/16th socket and installing the new one with Teflon(r) Protect your tank in a fast and simple manner with this inexpensive and easy solution.
I bought a new replacement that looks good, but is a lot smaller than I expected, but over all I can tell the difference between a new one and an old.
We used this for our RV and it was just as described. The tape was also just as good. Regarding scent, I have no idea what they are referring to. Not a single scent to be found.
It's impossible to know the exact value until we've been using it at least one season.
The only thing I had to do was use some tape to make the fit tighter, but it worked out great.
The product is better than the original equipment manufacturer's. My installation took only a few minutes. The next time I purchase, I will do so.
