It ought to work.

I just did a quick check. Along its LONG length, the huge thick anode is barely wasted. However, only about 1/2" of the steel threaded fitting was deeply eroded. I replaced it because I was afraid the rest of the rod would break off and fall into the tank. A shorter rod, in my opinion, is preferable. The next time, I'll halves my replacement.
The cement in the threads gets a two-star rating. The time it takes to remove the cement from the threads, which takes about 20 minutes in a drill press with a pick and a wire wheel, negates the good price. br>The cement, which is ostensibly pipe dope, is so hard that normal pipe thread installation is impossible "two or three turns past finger tight. " br>WITH 60FT-THREADS, JUST TWO THREADS CAN BE INVOLVED. Torque into CLEAN tank threads with lb torque.
The removal of an anode from an 8-year-old water heater was a pain because the previous owner had never replaced it. Pre-applied tape was appreciated, as it made it easier for the next owner to remove. The quality of the material appears to be excellent. The quality of the manufacturing is excellent. It is highly recommended.
Threading is a term used to describe the process of weaving A standard anode socket for a water heater is required (1-). To remove and replace, use a 1/16-inch drive with a 1/2-inch drive. When I put the new one in, I had to be very careful. Begin by hand-threading the threads, then use the socket wrench to complete the job.
It's a breeze to set up and use. Despite the fact that I ordered two, I only received one.
It was simple to set up and started working right away.
Product is excellent, and the seller stands behind it. Do not be hesitant to work with this company.
