Questions & Answers

My ATWOOD XT 10 gallon electric/gas water heater runs on 220 volts. Can I purchase a 220 volt element for it?

It works fine, but you need a tool to take out the old one. An 1 1/2-inch socket works well

Could you let me know if the metal wire that connects to the element is black too? Do the wires have to go to the screws in any particular order? Is the element held together by both silver screws?

There are no rules about which wire goes to which terminal, but mine had a black and a white wire connected to it. In light of this, I don't think it would matter which wire you attach to which terminal with one of your black wires. In addition to that, I installed my heating element almost a year ago, and I am very happy I wish you all the best!

What is the fit of this on the Atwood Gc6AA-I Does 10e exist?

It's not clear to me. There's no room for it in my Atwood GH6

Where do I get the replacement for the heating element on the Atwood mpd93756. ?

Almost identical to the 10e 6 gal E/gas atwood, the 93756 water heater uses the same type of fuel. This means that the heating element 92249 will work, though I used the shorter 1000 camco element. A hardware store in Ace has the element I'm looking for. Even with a less powerful element, hot water can still be achieved, but the tank will have less pressure. Camco bolts are the only ones that will work with the thread pattern and the Keep your screws from becoming too tight.

Once again, I'm enjoying hot water! My 2005 Holiday Rambler presidential had a cargo door next to the hot water heater that I was able to climb into
5/5

I then removed a plastic panel to gain access to the rear of the hot water heater and removed A head size of 1 1/2 inches is required for removal. It was a hassle to remove even with a head size of 1 1/2 inches. I replaced it and it worked perfectly after that. Located on the rear of the hot water heater, the element has a cylindrical shape. are unlucky and cannot get to the rear without completely removing the engine, I definitely feel sorry for you because there are a lot of hoses that Several videos are available on YouTube on how to remove the hot water heater if you do not have access to the space like I did.

If you turn on the power without water, you will need this
5/5

After purchasing a used Class A motor home, I discovered that the hot water tank was not heating water using I saw that the old water heater element had been melted in half when I removed it. It's possible that the tank was left without water, thus causing the power to come on. The replacement works great, and no matter how cold it gets in Northern Nevada, the pump never overheats unless my wife uses too much water for showers. Then we have propane backup to keep the unit going.

This is the wrong part the threads on the flange on the water heater are different
3/5

In order to screw in the element, you would have to drill a hole in the rear flange hole It took more than a minute for me and a friend to get through. You would not be able to use it. It was a clean flange hole with no obstructions, and the element did not need to be forced into place. Keeping the threads intact was important to me. I ON THE OTHER HAND, THE AMPCO 1735 WENT RIGHT ON. As a result, there is a different thread pattern. It looks like that part is a attwood 92249 but it did screw into the nut. Also, the element is at least 12 inches long, while the AMPCO does not exceed six inches in length. There are five words in this sentence. As a result, I am unable to provide a solution. I called ATWOOD for a replacement and they gave me the same number.

I think it is a good use of it! Since the heating element on my RV heater had stopped working because it was coated with mineral deposits, I bought this to replace it

I would recommend it as a A quality product
5/5

I bought this one as a spare after buying the OEM part. 2011 - the old one was replaced. The RVer here stays full time so the tires last. Be sure to do a 12-month tire rotation I soak the unit in 1/2 vinegar and 1/2 water for 24 hours while it is energized and then I flush it out well again. HW heaters can be used for a longer period of time if these procedures are followed. I just wanted to add my two.

This is a tight During the installation of an Atwood water heater, this element was to replace one
5/5

The heater's exhaust fan is mounted on the back of the heater, so removing the old fan and installing the new one was difficult because there is not much space. Between the end of the heating element and the steel that surrounds the heater, only 3 inches could be seen. I really like this element.

A longer version of the Atwood part, this is not an OEM Atwood part
3/5

Zam RW792 is stamped on the element and makes it clear the part is different. Furthermore, the element is longer. It must be sent back and a replacement must be obtained.

I am very pleased with my new I am very pleased with my new It is standard for most of these to have a screw on adapter, so check if the one you are replacing has one
5/5

In order to fit, you must have the right socket. I was able to fix my problem with Camco 9953.
