Questions & Answers

Can you tell me if the valve in this model has a 1/4 turn?

The SharkBite 23336 is here to greet you This shut off water valve is a 1/4 turn, 1/2" by 1/4" in size. 877-432-3982 is the phone number for tech support if you have any additional questions The 700-800 range I appreciate your kind regards, *br>

What are the chances of them sticking to polyvinyl chloride? What is the minimum pipe area that needs to be exposed or available?

The copper pipe burst in a location that was very confined, so I bought these to repair it. (1/2 inch on inlet side) PEX is what I used PEX has a great deal to do with the kind of material it is. You can choose from a variety of grades The ODs of all these people are different. The search for a PEX that would work took me a while, but I eventually found one. I have no idea how much "end" we have In order for this to work, about 1/2" of end must be available. In regards to the pressure fit (outlet) side, I went with 3/8 copper, so I cannot comment on it. I am the kind of person who buys almost everything on Amazon except produce and beer. Generally, it took me a lot of trial and error to get this right, and this was one of the rare cases where it would have been easier for me if I just went to a

A 1/4 inch outside diameter tubing is required for my humidifier tube. Is there any way to tell whether this angle stop works? Thank you, sir?

There is a compression fitting of 1/4" on the stop. Approximately 1/2 in (13 mm) in diameter is the feed port An animal bites

Does it provide adequate protection against water damage? Using a 1/4" copper line to deliver water to the toilet. ?

There are three toilets in our house that use these valves, but my pipe size is different (1/2" to 3/8" for our toilet supply lines). The same type is also being used by me The difference is in the size - of course They can also serve as sink valves). This is a great product! don't take much effort to put on, and they hold very well. We haven't had a leak so far. Using compression fittings and a torch to solder fittings in a tight spot sure beats using compression fittings. The most difficult thing may be finding a size that fits your needs. The SharkBite website would usually yield the answer to my question about whether they exist, and then I would use SharkBite numbers to look for a supplier. It should be noted that there are other manufacturers of similar

I find it to be an easy task to accomplish
5/5

The outlet stop valve of a 1/2 inch inlet by a 1/4 inch inlet is nearly impossible to find in a big box store. Due to the fact that this is one area where you don't want a leak going unnoticed, I looked for a PEX cinch clamp shutoff valve 1/2 x 1/4 inch. At a price of less than $15, it's almost impossible to find We charge $20 in addition to The article I found is about sharkbite fittings, and despite not being a huge fan of them, I have never had any issues using them in the past, provided that the pipe is prepared correctly, which is easy to do with PEX when making a clean square cut. My installation of this valve went smoothly last night. I am very pleased with the quality. A valve handle with a larger handle would be much more convenient to me and I would rather not use one with a small handle. I still find the product to be great.

As a shark bite user, I've used this valve a few times, but never one like this one. The decision I made was a good one. The technology is amazing and I would use it.

I highly recommend this product for its simplicity and ease of use. It also has the ability to convert to the size I need so that I got the correct size. I thought it would be difficult to install, but after watching the videos and getting the item and installing it, I found it easy. Since all I had to do was make sure all the sizes were correct and cut the copper pipe, then push the valve in until it clicked into place, it was not difficult. In addition, it is nice to be able to rotate it in any direction that I want, long after the kit has been installed.

A 12-year-old boy Update for the year The foundation is still The Shark Bite products have been used on multiple occasions over the years, even on my main water supply (if you turn off the main shutoff from the house). Despite being around for 8+ years, it still stands This is one of only a few 1/2" boards available It wouldn't be nearly as hard as I thought to find 1/4-inch-outs The valve must be turned. Conventional stores with these features were not available at the big orange and blue box stores. My trust in them is strong, and I hope I will not have to backtrack on it.
