I found them to be cheaper than what I could get locally. My knowledge of the quality of the valves is limited, but usually this type of valve works great until a few years have passed, and then you have to turn it off. The valve will not turn off by then because it has become corroded. We will have to wait and see whether these corrode.
I am able to save a great deal of money over The product is of very high quality, very cost-effective, and much cheaper than purchases at the hardware store. To hold, it feels just as heavy and solid as items that are more expensive. I've installed eight of them in my cabin over the past few weeks, and have not had any leaks or issues with any of them.
Since I constantly switch from copper to pex with each repair I perform (I maintain several homes), these have been quite useful.
It is worth the price. Item of high quality. The pex to sink connections are ideal for these. The feel is solid. The shutoff is leak-free when rotated 1/4 turn. if you have a few small projects to complete, I think they are a great value.
