Kohler, not the seller, is at fault for this, in my opinion. I bought this and found it began to leak around the handle after about a month. To see if anything has gotten under the seal, reset it to see if there is nothing under A second one was purchased from a local hardware store and has worked as it should since then. The new standard for Kohler parts shouldn't be as bad as this.

It took about 10 minutes for my son to replace the cartridge. He succeeded in fitting the part perfectly and he was able to resolve all of the faucet issues. A common issue with this part is the inability to replace it, but it can be fixed easily. I definitely found the part on Amazon to be more economical.
