Because there are two ball joints, it's known as a double swivel. one that is connected to the end sprayer and is encased in the body that screws onto the end of the faucet Both ends are capable of generating motion. Consider the unit to be the forearm of your arm: The forearm bone connects the two joints in your elbow and hand. I'm in the same boat. Each swivel has its own range of motion. It's a nice design that allows you to direct the flow of water to almost any location in the sink.
Both. An adapter, which resembles a large plastic washer with inside and outside threads, is included. If you have a newer faucet with a threaded interior, all you have to do is hand-screw the adapter into the Siroflex and you're done. This is a fantastic gadget!
There are two different ways to use this product. The unit will have an aerator effect if the "head" is left in its normal position. A spray pattern can be seen by pulling down on the head.
I've had a few of these types of sprayers over the years, and removing the screen does increase water flow. To replace the screen, you'll need one of the included washers. For me, the swivel is usually the first thing to go. My previous one had a five-year duration.

This sprayer is fantastic. I wish my shower functioned as well as yours does. Anyway, I'm going to use this sprayer to wash my hair right now. It's fantastic. This also sprays in all corners, which is useful for those who need to clean their sink. I sprayed my back by accident. Cabinets and back splash I could also squirt it all over the floor. However, that was just me tinkering around with it. This one gives me a lot of water pressure. Love it. Because I wash my dishes by hand, this sprayer, unlike the one that came with my faucet, really gets the suds going.
This sprayer has been a lifesaver for me for the past 5 months! I live in a rental and can't replace the plumbing fixtures, so the sink faucet I have can only swivel between the two sink basins in the kitchen, and I had no control over the stream of water outside of that arc until I discovered this product, which is as simple as unscrewing the small piece on your existing sink (and keeping it in a safe place if you rent like me!). The new sprayer head should then be screwed on. The instructions were clearly inadequate, as there was initially some sort of piece in the sprayer that was not compatible with my sink. I eventually decided to simply remove the plastic piece, and the sprayer went on smoothly after that. Because I didn't know what that piece was for, I was concerned that it would cause problems. But it's been working perfectly since I installed it. Because I can direct the flow of water and switch from an aerated flow to the "jet" streams of water, which I prefer, it makes washing my dishes and sink SO much easier. br>br>I looked at a few other models that were similar, but I decided on this one because it was shorter than the others. I was hesitant to get anything longer because my faucet is already close to the sink. I'm glad I didn't because I have to lift the faucet up slightly and tilt the sprayer all the way to the side to fill up my water filter tank that I installed in my refrigerator. If the sprayer wasn't long enough, it wouldn't work. To summarize, the price is reasonable, the functionality is excellent, and it was delivered quickly and without charge. I strongly suggest it!.
I've had a Siroflex for a long time and really liked it, but it finally broke. I was looking for a replacement, and while this was close, it wasn't quite right. It's labeled Siroflex and says Made in Italy, but if that's the case, the design has changed slightly. The water is more restricted by the smaller diameter of the hole through the swivel, but it still has a wide range of motion. That's fine with me, but the silver slide that switches from "pour" to "spray" is now far too loose. As you manipulate the faucet, it's all too easy to accidentally switch to spray mode. My only reason for keeping mine is that the silver part unscrews and is still compatible with my old one. If I can't get used to the lower water flow from a hybrid of the two, I'll try expanding it with a drill if I can't get used to it.
I used to have a Siroflex aerator, and it was fantastic. But I didn't have an adapter when I got a new faucet with a female nozzle installed. Since then, I've tried a few different brands, but none of them have worked for me. All of the rotators are prone to breaking, have a bulky form factor, or are leaky. br>br>Based on my limited experience, I purchased this one with high expectations. It was, however, leaking once more. Though it isn't as bad as some of the competitors' products that I've tried. The problem, I believe, is the material used on the screw on head, as well as the depth of that material. br>br>However, the adapter that came with it allowed me to use my old one (which I had thankfully saved - pack- For the win, we'll rat! It's also very useful. The actual aerator screw on head was leaking on this new one, and no amount of tightening wasn't enough to stop it. The adapter went in without a hitch, and at the very least I now have a working system. Thanks to the old Siroflex product, I now have a working swivel aerator. br>br>So here are my conclusions: br>br>* This product's quality has declined since I purchased it several years ago. br>br>* However, today's quality is still marginally superior to that of the low-cost competitors. br>br>* This product has a good range of motion and a good form factor. br>br>* Screw-in br>br> Both with two seals installed (the default) and with one seal removed, one section is a little leaky.
The swivel is absolutely fantastic! It thoroughly cleans the entire sink. And there's a lot of water flowing. No plumber's tape was required to keep water from spraying out of the connection because it was easily attached with fingers. I'm going to get another one for the bathroom! br>br>UPDATE ON 10/19/18 WATCH OUT FOR THE SELLER! I purchased a second one from Rocking Y Distributors on October 14, 2018, but it was not the same product. It was from a company called SinkTastic, not Siroflex! (SEE PHOTO) The SinkTastic does not have the same level of security as the Siroflex. It outperforms the Ultra Euro Jet it replaced while costing half as much. It was easy to connect it to my kitchen faucet, and it only needed to be hand tight. I could have easily tightened it even more, but I only went as far as was required to keep it from leaking. On the first try, there were no leaks. The two ball joints are simple to use and do not leak. br>To switch from full stream to wide spray, simply pull down the bottom part (where the water comes out). And when I say "easily," I mean it. It was always a two-step process to switch from stream to spray on my Euro Jet. It was a hand job because pulling the bottom part down was much more difficult, and I was always afraid of breaking the faucet arm to which the swivel sprayer was attached. This Siroflex sprayer is so easy to pull down that I had to train myself not to pull it down by accident as I moved it around the sink. It's almost as if it'll collapse on its own. I purchased a second one just in case, or in case a family member might require one. This double swivel sprayer meets all of my expectations. I'm amazed at how inexpensive it is. This one is going to be a big hit.
