I'm not sure if they fit all Moen faucets, but mine did.
Yes, it's an insert; you can compare your aerator to this one by measuring it. It appears to be a good match.
I'm not sure if they fit my Moen faucet, but they did.
It was a perfect fit and function in my MOEN kitchen faucet, which I thought required a 101029 replacement. Everything in the big box stores that looked like it would be a good replacement didn't work.

With so many complaints about these aerators not fitting Moen faucets, I felt compelled to correct the record. The bathroom faucet in my home is a Moen Caldwell (shown). An 181076 aerator is required for this task. I bought them after carefully measuring the original aerator and comparing it to the measurements shown on these aerators. The aerators are an exact fit for the Moen faucet. At first, I was concerned because the washer that came with the kit did not fit. It had a stepped profile and was a tad on the large side. But then I noticed that the washers came in a variety of styles. I chose the simple flat washer because it was the right size, and I screwed the faucet end back on, and it now functions properly. In fact, since these are 2, they're a little better than before. Aerators with a flow rate of 2GPM, compared to aerators with a flow rate of 1. 2GPM.
In the name of conservation, the government has single-handedly demolished modern plumbing, rendering toilets, showers, and faucets nearly unusable. This is especially ironic because I live in a house with a well, and any water I don't use is pumped back into the ground, where it is filtered by natural processes and reused by myself and others. So why should these irrational federal standards be applied here? Ridiculous. br>br> Thankfully, products like this exist that restore some utility and modern convenience to the things that the government has messed up. This aerator was simple to install and transformed my brand new laundry faucet into exactly what it should have been in the first place - efficient and effective. a modern fixture that is both functional and attractive.
If you recently moved into a new home and notice that your bathroom faucets aren't getting enough water, the flow restrictors are likely to blame. If you replace your current flow restrictor, which is most likely color-coded, you'll save money. Only one is allowed because the code is green. The faucet is leaking at a rate of 5 gallons per minute. Changing the color scheme to this red-orange hue- Flow restrictors that are coded allow for a maximum of two. This is a significant increase of 2 gallons per minute. This item includes a variety of washer sizes to fit a variety of faucet brands. If you are unhappy with your current flow rates, I would recommend replacing all of the Moen vanity faucet restrictors in your home. Shower and kitchen fixture restrictors can be replaced for a similar fix, but these are only designed to fit the bathroom vanity size faucet.
I had noticed in my bathroom that when I filled a glass of water to get a drink, it tasted like pennies or metal or something, and I assumed it was the faucets, so I removed the little thingie with the aerator, and out came a slew of black and other colored looking objects. Some of the stones appeared to be. Because I saw little black things in the bathtub, I'm assuming the black came from when our water heater failed. br>br>Anyway, I got out a pair of really strong glasses, and our Moen Faucets were covered in writing, so I came here looking for something to match. Mine had the letters A on one side and Moen on the other. 112 1 million, and less than that, two million. After that, I believe it says 8 GPM. 3L/min. br>br>Anyway, these looked visually similar to what I had, and I knew the two faucets in one bathroom needed to be replaced, but it turned out we had three other faucets, all of which were Moen but not all of which took the same exact piece. br>br>I included a photo of my old one, which has some blue in it, but it's at least 15 years old. Mine came with a washer that was not at all like the other washers, and it fit perfectly inside the cap thingie on top of the aerator. It protruded slightly and formed a tight seal. I decided to try the one that sat inside but had a small lip on it because it seemed the most logical, and it worked fine after a little tightening. I didn't have to use the plumber's tape at all. br>br>I'm overjoyed because I only paid $8 to fix all of our upstairs faucets. It was also incredibly simple to complete! Thank you for taking the time to read my review. br>br>.
My well has a low level of pressure. When you add in the fact that most plumbing fixtures have water-saving restrictors, the pressure is low. I've been using the old ones with no pressure for years, assuming that new restrictors would perform similarly to the old ones. These have completely changed the game, and the flow/pressure is stunning. I used these to replace the restrictors in the kitchen and bath faucets, and I enjoy turning the knob every time!.
Following the installation of a new water heater, the flow of water in our faucets was noticeably reduced, and rinsing did not restore it. The JQK aerators were installed in both the bath (Monticello) and kitchen faucets, restoring the water flow to its previous state. These appear to be a direct replacement for the Moen grey aerator with red filter on one side (and the grey aerator with blue filter on the other side, though the flow rate may differ). The box contains 5 aerators as well as 2 sets of washers for the faucet ring (one set is flat washers that are thinner than original Moen and did not seal properly in my faucets; the other set is round washers that are thinner than original Moen and did not seal properly in my faucets; The other set has a lip between the ring and the body of the faucet - There will be a small gap between the ring and the body, but it will close up eventually).
I bought a new mobile home to use as an office, and it came with the typical low-cost builder's plumbing, complete with government-mandated low-flow fixtures. You can't have a 5-gallon flushing toilet that flushes the first time—you need a 1. The bowl must be flushed five times to clear the 5 gallon flusher. Do the math: 5 gallons at a time or 1 gallons at a time. Five gallons multiplied by five equals seven gallons. 5 gallons total Similarly, the faucets are a pleasure to use. Waiting for what seems like an eternity for hot water or a coffee pot to be filled. However, not all faucets are compatible with these little gems. It works perfectly where they are. I had to force them into place and remove the rubber washer where they did fit.
