Simply unscrew the aerator (clockwise) and rinse or wipe it clean before reattaching it.
I'm not sure what I'm saying. Mine was put to good use on the sink faucet.
Although I have not seen the bronze, I believe it is not the same.
Model is extremely difficult to figure out. Simply replace the insert (screen part) as suggested by me and what I will do next time.

Water was splashing everywhere and old parts were rotting. I couldn't find my faucet's model number, so I hoped this one would work, and it did! The bottom diameter is slightly larger than my original, but the screw-on part is obviously the only part that matters (see photo for inscription on the bottom). It looked good on both the old and new ones.
After reading the positive reviews and the description stating that this is an OEM part, I purchased this Moen aerator to replace a broken one at my parents' house. The installation is straightforward, but the water flow appears to be restricted and uneven. I looked for blockages several times but was unable to locate any. I'm going to return and order the part from a different source.
It threaded perfectly onto my bathroom faucet; it wasn't an exact replica of the aerator I was replacing because I couldn't find the exact same model piece, but it looks close enough and is a close enough match that you'd never know it wasn't the original. It wasn't a perfect fit in terms of preventing leaks, but a quick fix of wrapping a few layers of plumbing tape around the threads fixed the problem perfectly.
This aerator is fine; after all, it is an aerator. Because of the brand name, it's a little pricey, but it matches the faucet it's attached to. It satisfies my modest expectations.
On Amazon, I discovered them as well as reliable reviews. They arrived ahead of schedule and are in excellent condition.
I'd just bought a new Moen faucet, which came with a 1. Aerator with a flow rate of 5 gpm. It was slow and low-pressure (it took an eternity to fill a spaghetti pot). The output was nearly doubled thanks to this aerator. I'm very pleased with the outcome.
Like - dislike - it was quickbr>come fastbr>come fastbr>come fastbr>come It leaked, but we were able to fix it with Teflon tape. br>Dislike - The nozzle functions, but a small amount of water sprays sideways from the nozzle. It's not enough to cause concern, but it does accumulate on your hands. When I fill a glass with water, for example, there is a slight water spray.
If you're in need of a replacement part, this one fits perfectly.
