No, I don't believe so. This is connected to a hose-connected laundry faucet. It aerates the water, making it function more like a regular faucet.
It's made of metal, to be sure.
Yes, there are two parts to it.
Chrome is the type of item I received. There were a few too many in the description, whoever wrote it. The 3- 1" x 3/4" The stated dimensions of 7/8" should better apply to the packaging rather than the part, and what does "quart" mean? Really? The ability to proofread for content has clearly deteriorated.

This is perfect for the new laundry tub faucet I purchased. Instead of an aerator, that faucet had a garden hose end. This small addition adds a lot of value to the overall design. I only put it on hand tight so that I can remove it quickly to fill something large (e. g. , a container). a container). It comes with a gasket, so it seals just fine even without plumbers' tape (which I'll probably add later). br>It seems silly to write a review for such a small item, but hey, it does exactly what I needed it to do.
The "low flow" revolution has reached a fever pitch, as evidenced by this aerator. My laundry tub faucet would be like a free-flowing garden hose if it didn't have an aerator. It's more like an anemic stream from a clogged hypodermic needle with this thing attached. What the hell is going on here? Has the federal government established a single-payer system? Is this just a poorly designed product, or has one person single-handedly ruined plumbing to the point where this is the best the industry has to offer?.
I recently moved into a home with a utility sink located directly inside the garage door. Well, I enjoy working in that garage, and having a sink there is convenient. What wasn't helping was the sloppy stream of water that came out of the faucet, which aimed crookedly depending on the spout position. When I tried to wash a part, there was a lot of splash-back. backwards, as if I were using a jet nozzle from a garden hose. Okay, so it's a little dramatic, but what did you expect when reading aerator reviews? It screwed right onto the hose threads, sealed with a hand-tightening, and now the stream flows like a civilized faucet. Hello, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to the twenty-first century!.
So. My house was built in 1958, so I don't have a dishwasher, and I also don't have the cabinet space on either side of the sink to install one. So I have a huge portable dishwasher that I can't fit in my kitchen but can fit in the garage because we have a utility sink right next to the kitchen/garage door. With this adapter, I was able to connect my portable dishwasher to my utility sink, allowing me to load and use the dishwasher while keeping it in the garage (the door is very close to the sink). br>br>This plumbing piece came with an aerator already installed, which was a nice bonus. I didn't need it because I already had a portable dishwasher adapter aerator, but it's nice to have it.
I bought this to keep the water from splattering when I fill up my watering can from my outside faucet. Advantages: br>br>
1. When tightened, it works and does not leak. br>2. It appears to be rust-resistantbr>3. Cons: I didn't notice any changes in flow ratebr>br>
1. It was leaking at first, but I figured out that the ring needed to be hand tightened to stop the leak. br>br>Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase; it does what it's supposed to do and helps me conserve water.
This aerator/adapter is a perfect fit for our Gerber brass utility knife. a faucet for the sink It has a male hose thread of 3/4" in diameter. The dimensions listed in the product description are incorrect; see the photo of the manufacturer's packaging for more information. The water is now dispensed in a steady stream. With a wrench, we can easily remove it if we need a stronger flow.
There are no leaks because it fits perfectly. In an outdoor service sink, I use this to refill containers for pet water dishes. It would also work well in a laundry room or garage.
There isn't much that could go wrong with this item because it's a very simple device that takes about 5 seconds to set up. It fits utility sink faucets with a male hose thread on the spout perfectly. The entire un-installation process must be completed before the installation can begin. Splashing was common when the water flow was aerated. Water flow is easily controlled with this device. aerated. The 6-hour wait was well worth it. a certain amount of money.
