Without a doubt, the most cost-effective option. I looked at several sellers for this item and nothing comes close to this price, and the item is simple to install, which is good because you'll have to replace these every year. When we were tearing down our new home; All of the plumbing was replaced, and I bought these lovely Kohler toilets, thinking they were the best, but I was wrong. The toilets from Home Depot and Lowes, which cost a quarter of the price of Kohler toilets, are much better built and lasted 7 years in my previous home without requiring a single flapper replacement. This seller's item, on the other hand, is fantastic and arrived quickly- Kohler's design is simply poor.
My Kohler was slowly leaking and would occasionally (once a day or less) refill, despite the fact that it had not been flushed. It was a breeze to replace this gasket. It only took about 5 minutes to complete - (for a video, go online) and the leak was stopped.
