Will this work as a purification system for drinking water?

It should work with one of the adapters. That's how we ended up with ours.

Is there a portable dishwasher that will work with any of these options?

Almost any sink faucet should be able to connect to the water supply with this adapter kit. It came in handy when I needed to connect a garden hose to a bathroom sink, and it has several options for that purpose.

Fits a hose but not a water hose

What? None of these would fit on a hose, how come? It was a hose adapter, according to the label. I'm completely perplexed at this point.

I saw in the description that it could be connected to my kitchen or bathroom sink and used with a hose. My apartments do not have hose connections. Neither of my sinks could accommodate any of them.

It would have been nice if there were instructions included. Finding the right combination for my faucet took a long time. I have a balcony garden and was fed up with carrying water from the kitchen. The adapter worked well with little leakage once it was properly connected. I'm glad I made the purchase.

The hose adapter was not compatible with any of the pieces

Because none of the pieces fit the actual hose adapter, it's unclear what they're for (should be to fit the faucet to the hose adapter). Although one of them would have fit my faucet, there was no way to connect it to the hose. Only the female hose adapter (9 out of 10) was received, but that doesn't change what I already stated.
