This item was very well made and I was quite impressed. It turned out to be heavier than I anticipated. Even though it is still an 8" grinder, there is some space savings because the wheels are closer to the motor than others I have seen, so it reduces blade width a bit. There was very little assembly needed for this product, and it did what it set out to do. This product is easy to use and the instructions are clear. I am using mine primarily to sharpen wood lathe tools and the oxide wheels and girts are just right.

This is a excellent grinder for light work such as grinding tools and the like. My metal lath and wood lath tools work great with it. It's nice to work with low speed tools, since they don't get hot as fast, and you have more control over them.
