I used it to radius aluminum with a router for more than 60 inches without a hitch. Aluminum sliced easily with the tool just like a sharp knife through wood when using it by hand. Note It was because I had not set the tool to full depth in preparation for the collet to slip. In this case, the tool slipping and moving beyond the radius height would create a catastrophic groove in my expensive piece of work.
My use of this bit has been extensive for a few months, and I am delighted with how it works. The software is used on more than one computer The router I have is a battery powered router, which is fine. I wish I could use a powered router It's also because the cuts are less intense when the speed slows down due to battery drain. The bit itself doesn't have a problem with that. This was the bit that appeared to be the right size, and I just needed one. The result has been positive. Thanks a lot.
It makes excellent and smooth cuts so far. It remains to be seen how long this review will last, but I will give it a 5 star rating.
Results are not affected by the bit, it's the other way around!.
While the price was good, I found it to be very late in arriving due to delays in shipping. I had changed my approach by the time it came.
It does the job fast and uniformly if you have a lot of edges to soften.
I mean it. They both came in twos. The two arrived at the same time and had drastically different profiles. The ground was very poor. A better-shaped screw bent when it touched wood I tried using the better-shaped screw. This is a very hazardous situation. They were both tossed in the trash, so he bought Freud instead.
The perfect answer to my prayers.
