How does it work depends on your router. Wood density and the number of boards per cubic meter. Nonetheless, you will have to dig several times to reach the depth of the cove as there is a limit to how much hogging you can do This is in addition to the speed and power
My round nose router bit (#18130) has a perfectly round nose because I purchased the Freud 1 1/4 radius round nose router bit. The two halves of the plate were used to make a 1 1/4-inch cylinder using it.
When the round is used, it will cut to a depth of 3/4 in. If you want to increase the depth of cut, you will go around one inch depending on how deep you set it.

To cut a juice groove in my Christmas gifts, I cut a juice groove in my cutting boards. Three passes were needed to get it to the depth I desired.
I have been using smaller bits for a while now, but this one was smooth and fast.
The item arrived as ordered, and it works like a charm!.
This is a great website I highly recommend it.
I love it.
The bit cut very clean grooves in hard maple cutting boards when used on hard maple. As is the case with most Freud products, this one is excellent.
I was able to do it as if it were a dream,.
