Questions & Answers

What does "large diameter" mean, and how does it relate to a 1/8" radius?

The 3/4" diameter refers to the bit's large diameter, whereas the 1/8" measurement refers to the radius of the cut roundover. That's all you have to worry about if you need a 1/8" roundover.

Is it possible to enlarge a 15-inch hole by 1/8 inch at a time with this tool?

For that application, that bit isn't going to work. All they'll do is round off a sharp corner with a small rounded edge.

These bits are used to route acrylic and other plastics, and the bearings tend to seize up before the bits themselves wear out. I'm not sure which bearing I require as a replacement. ?

A 1/2" id x 3/16" id B3 bearing is used in this bit. In my inventory, I have 137 items. eoasaw offers free shipping on orders over $10. Please let us know if there's anything we can do to help.

How long is the screw from the beginning of the cutter head (shank side) to the end?

The distance between the cutter surface (2000C 1/8"R) and the end of the screw (over the bearing) was 0. 87, but because the measurement was taken at a very slight angle, it's safe to assume it's an estimate. The bearing's end is in the same spot as before. 71, while the cutter's straight part is 0. 33 is the radius's starting point. [[The radius of the 2000A 1/16" radius is 0. 03678, 82, and 0 are all numbers that can be used to make a number. 3725, to be exact.

The quality is excellent, and the price is very reasonable
5/5

I'd previously purchased Freud and other well-known brands until a member of the woodworking community recommended this brand; while some bits are pricey, I couldn't believe how smooth this bit cut compared to others I'd tried over the years. I thought the bit wasn't making contact at first, but then I noticed how smooth it was cutting. With my Bosch router, there are no burn marks and I can glide around the edge in a single pass. Pine and a variety of hardwood species have been tried, and they all appear to work well. Following this encounter, I began to buy Whiteside products. If you want a high-quality finish, this is the way to go.

My table was harmed as a result of the defective product
3/5

This may seem like a good deal, but if the bearing fails almost immediately and damages a $1000 table top, I'm not going to use it again. You won't keep this customer if you make a high-quality bit and then use low-quality bearings on it.

A high-quality rounder bit with razor-sharp edges
5/5

In recent months, I've primarily purchased whiteside router bits. They're high-quality bits, and I appreciate that they're made in the United States. You can put your faith in the product's quality. With a smooth operating bearing, this round over bit is razor sharp.

Whiteside has a knack for not letting you down
5/5

The router bits made by White Side are among the best available. This isn't the first time this has happened. I work as a professional woodworker in a one-man shop. So it's mostly hardwood work in the man shop. I've used it on white oak and a lot of ash wood, and it works great. br>It's highly recommended!.

What you pay for is exactly what you get
5/5

If you only need a router bit for a few pieces, you can save money by purchasing a set. However, if you need bits to last for multiple jobs, you'll have to pay the extra money. These parts will serve you well for a long time.

This is an outstanding piece
5/5

Whiteside bits are known for their high quality, and this one is no different. I've only done a few hundred feet of routing with it so far, but it's still cutting and turning smoothly.

My go- It's a bit of a challenge to knock down an edge! This is my favorite part! It's just the right amount of roundover
5/5

It should be neither too big nor too small. It dulls a sharp edge while maintaining a clean profile.
