Here are the measurements of my bit. It is "203". The lower slot will be about 3/16" longer than that, so that's 13/64" long.
This is a terrible profile to show. I totally agree with you. If the cross section of the cut is located in an appropriate area, this could be the case. For example, if you plunged the bit and moved right immediately. In any case, this does not reflect the entire population.

The application has not been used yet for that application Track slots) and, from looking at its design, I don't believe it would.
Selected User Reviews For Freud 25/64" (Dia.) Key Hole Bit with 1/4" Shank (70-104)
For all the keyhole bits within this price range it is among the best. However, it does not have a great ability to cut downwards. You should not let the hole cool before cutting another one. While it will cut the initial hole, you should go slowly and let the hole cool before cutting another one. This was to maximize the use of the forstner bit, so I bought the same size keyhole bit (only about 5 or 6$ on Amazon) first, then I used the hole bit to cut It is much faster to drill one hole after another this way, and my bits last much.
Make a mark on the top dead center of the frame and then apply your router there Surely there is no easier way to do this!.
Exactly what I wanted. I don't think the people who smashed it had any idea what router bits are capable of. The trick for me is to take it slow and easy and use my plunge router. The machine has been used to drill about 2 dozen holes since I got it and it has been fine.
We are big fans of Fréud parts, and this one passed the test. Straight, clean cuts are essential for cutting key holes that line up perfectly, and this one does it. If you are going to use this, make sure you make a sturdy jig so it is accurate and aligned every time.
I'm very happy with it. As a new woodworker, I have a lot to learn. It is an actual review from someone who has only used this router a few times. In order to cut keyway holes into a wood plank, I used this tool. The screws I'm using are #10 and they work great. It's got a little play in it that I like to have just in case I don't have my measurements perfectly accurate.
I bought this to hang a more substantial measuring board so that my son and daughter can be measured. With the router set to depth, it is simply a matter of plunging, and routing is done! Here we are! were able to hang the 6ft board without issue. fred has awesome bits! i give him a 5/5.
Some router bits may be more useful than others. I have not had a good experience with Freud, so I cannot compare the two. Whenever I need a jolt of inspiration, I turn to Freud. My tools are not stressed enough as a woodworker, and I don't do enough to wear them out. It cuts a very nice, small keyhole with this bit. This machine did a good job of cutting the plunger, then cutting a Customer happy with the purchase. The product is what it says it is.
I went down on softwood and broke a bit. The company will buy again in the future, and going slowly will be beneficial. Despite my best efforts, I remain disappointed. Not used it enough to wear down the blades, so I won't know for sure.
