The bit I'd personally not use with a small router would not meet my needs I would have a hard time controlling it because it is so large. There is no reason to believe the collet on the router won't fit.
There is a cutting edge on the top of the bearing, but it is not removable. Only the angle has a cutting edge!

A loose "case" arrived at its destination. There is a yellowed thin plastic "case" in the box. The packaging of Hot Wheels cars is better. There's something about this that looks like it came from Since I always keep my bits in their cases when they are not in use, I am disappointed in this decision. With this one, I won't be able to do that. It would be expected for the price that it would arrive in a nice hard plastic case that keeps it secure and makes it easy to store, just like any other Freud part I have purchased.
I use Freud on most of the projects I do.
This is a favorite of my husband. I think this product is worth every penny, great value.
As I look at the new products and tools available to us, I'm amazed at how they allow us to accomplish tasks much faster and more effectively than in the past. In addition to the quality tools he creates, Freud has always made great instruments. An easy-to-use bit that's fast, sharp, and easy to use. Instead of trying to make a shoddy bit work, I am glad I spent the extra money. I'll keep adding Freud bits to my collection one or two at a time until I have a complete set. THANK YOU! I am so happy!.
The world does not disappoint with Freud.
I have used this one a few times and it is superior to most of the others I own. If I had the chance to buy it again, I would.
As of today, I have routed 60 linear feet of treated pine - it got a bit gummed up due to the soft wood, but a simple green cleaning took care of that and now it's good as There is no better way to approach psychology than through Freud.
