Product Description

By entering your model number, you can make sure that this fits.
Cubitron II cuts 30% faster than traditional ceramic abrasives and lasts 2x longer than conventional ceramic abrasives and lasts 2x longer than conventional ceramic abrasives and lasts%
Microreplication is used in Precision Shaped Grain (PSG) technology to produce extremely uniform abrasive grains.
PSG abrasive grains are triangular and extremely sharp, allowing them to cut very quickly.
For effective cutting and even wear, grains are electrostatically oriented on the abrasive surface.
To maintain sharpness and extend abrasive life, PSG self-fractures while in use.
The disc's long life and tear resistance are owed to its stiff fiber backing and strong resin bond.

These blades cut better and last longer than any other I've ever used, so they're well worth the extra money
5/5

They also remove mill scale from hot rolled steel better than any other product I've tried. I was skeptical at first, but after trying them, I'm a believer. If my memory serves me correctly, I decided to give them a shot after seeing a Japhands video on YouTube. Another advantage is that the backing or whatever paper they use is thicker, making it less likely for them to rip. I occasionally catch the edge of the cheaper ones on sheet metal and rip chunks out depending on rotation (hopefully that's descriptive enough), but that doesn't happen with these. br>I get 3 inch instead of 2 inch, and as they wear, I cut them down to a smaller diameter to make them last even longer. Don't take my word for it; get some and give them a shot. They are AGRESSIVE! br>br> I haven't tried the lower grits yet, but they do leave a rougher surface than any other 30 grit I've used. If you want a polished surface, try something else or a higher grit, I believe it's because they stay sharp all the way to the end of their useful life. They're designed for ultra-fast grinding and shaping, and they're ideal for smoothing welds. They cut so quickly that you have to be cautious, and they also appear to produce less heat.

Wow, a tough core
5/5

On a sander, I've used 40 grit sanding belts before, but they're no match for this 36 grit disc. This stuff is like butter when it comes to bondo. It's so aggressive that I have to kiss the bondo just enough to keep it from eating through 1/4 inch in a few rotations. It also chews through mild steel with ease. I wish I had used this to remove rust sooner because it is a monster.

3M is the best at what they do, and you should follow their lead
5/5

These discs are fantastic. The product is of excellent quality and well worth the money. They become more abrasive as you use them, and they last a long time. I used the McKay arbor kit instead of the more expensive arbor, and these fit perfectly. $26. 00 has been saved! These are the only type/mfg I will buy because I use them to grind welds, so they get a lot of use and last a long time.

Other abrasive discs are outclassed by this one
5/5

Long-lasting and high-quality Discs that last a long time and are extremely sharp and aggressive. I'm not sure why it took me so long to notice them. Although expensive, as with all 3M products, you get what you pay for.

They don't fall apart in your pad or eat steel for breakfast, and they last longer than other brands.

When it comes to rolocs, 3m is the way to go
5/5

With 3M products, you can't go wrong. These work well with my small grinder to clean up metal. The pads appear to last a long time and grind light materials quickly.

Wow! I'm still on the first 3" cubitron roloc disc and have probably ground about 5 feet of welds
5/5

The money spent was well spent. Simply buy it and cry once; I promise you will not be disappointed.
