China is where they are made, according to my understanding. A brass ferule came off my handle after I used it just once. I am making new handles for mine. Aside from that, I think they are an excellent tool for a lot less money. It would have been time-consuming for me to make the smaller ones since I already made the bigger

This is the perfect game The wood turning was my first time working with wood. I am an experienced metal machinist. These were an excellent purchase and I am delighted that The insert is made out of carbide like many tools used for cutting metal. Cutting hard woods is super clean and easy with this machine. This is a great way to get started! You only have to loosen the screw and turn it to reveal a new edge whenever you reach the end of your bit. As soon as all the edges are full, throw it away (to a carbide recycling bin if you have one) and replace it with a new one. It doesn't matter how you sharpen it. You can get additional replacement bits from a machine tool supply company, like Goodson, if you need to replace those included with your tool set.
You should be cautious if you use them for the first time on soft wood. They are sharp and tend to cut very This item is well suited to the intended purpose also, having an extra set of cutters is convenient. I feel quite at ease using it. The controls are good and the comfort is excellent. This is a good price for what it is.
These holes are 10x18" in size and seem to work well on my lathe. Putting aside the need to sharpen chisels and the jigs needed for doing I would have liked a longer handle, but other than that nothing to complain about.
Lathe tools are well built, with shafts made of steel that are sturdy and well crafted to carry cutter heads, and they are attached to the shafts with screws to hold the cutter heads firmly in place. I might say the overall length of the tools is a bit short for a large lathe but I am able to cut extremely well with them on my small lathe. There has been no degradation of the cutting edge after several hours of use.
While I think these tools are good for the money, my only complaint about them is that the brass ferule broke when I used it for the first time. I lost it in my shop, so I will turn new handles and put new ferules on. In spite of this, these instruments are good value for the money.
To date, I have used them to turn only pens and wine bottle stoppers (small Both of them have subsequently come loose and are hanging by their handles. After just turning two pens and two wine bottle stoppers, the first one has already become dull. This was a very inexpensive product.
Tools that are solid. A good value for the money Since these chisels do not require constant sharpening, I use them for almost all of my turning work. Small items are what I do a lot, and these chisels perform much better than the other small items I have.
These are solid and well-constructed, and they seem to be worth the price.
In addition to the extra set of blade tips, these are a great deal.
