It should fit because this is a Morse taper 1 and your tail stock is a Morse taper 1 as well. br>On a craftsman wood lathe from the 1930s, mine worked perfectly.

The accuracy is zero. 0005+- as long as the tailstock is in the correct position
It will fit if it has a Morse Taper of Number 2 or higher.
This has a shank that measures 2 inches in length. I use a Jet 12" woodworking lathe, which works great.

For my lathe, this is a fantastic tailstock Live Center. Has a two-morse taper and is of excellent quality, fit, and finish. This is worth the money if you need a good sharp point and a good quality tail stock for your lathe; I've had mine for two years. After 5 years, I decided to purchase a second one for my other lathe. I was asked to rate the "Sheerness" for some reason in the review. So I wasn't buying pantyhose and wasn't sure why I needed to rate the Sheerness in the first place. In any case, I gave the sheerness a high rating and would purchase this item again.
This tailstock has given my nearly 50-year-old 12" Craftsman lathe a new lease on life. It arrived in good condition, oiled and ready to use right out of the box. The best bang for your buck, without a doubt.
If it doesn't work, it's a waste of money. I received this today, and the bearings felt chunky right out of the box. I could turn the cone with my hand, as if I were grinding pepper corns in a peppermill. I'm exchanging it for something else, but after reading the other reviews, I'm not expecting much. When I receive the replacement, I will update my review. br>br>*** I got the replacement, and it's better than the first one, but it's still suspect. It rotates without grit in the bearings right out of the box, but it has resistance. It doesn't spin as freely as I'd expect from a good tailstock center. I used a blank to mount it on my lathe, increased the speed to maximum, and let it run for about 20 minutes. There was no failure, no smoking, and no screeching, but it was warm to the touch (but not hot). Maybe it'll loosen up a little? I'll keep it in my possession and hope for the best - Crossing my fingers.
The back, flat side of the live center cone was damaged when it arrived, with rub/usage marks. The live center does not rotate freely and binds when it does. The bearing inside appears to be grinding. It's impossible to use it. Will be back as soon as possible.
The overall look and feel are of high quality. The packaging is excellent. My package was not damaged when it arrived. It's ready to use right away. Bearings appear to be shot, and it will not spin. When I come back for a replacement, I'll do another review. Replacement is worse than the original. br>br> Almost doesn't turn. Returning for a refund is a waste of time.
As you might expect, it's simple, but it's also reliable and affordable. br>The only caveat is that if you keep it outside in a humid environment like mine, you must keep it oiled to prevent it from rusting. It's not a big deal if it rusts; simply turn on the lathe, sand it down, and oil it.
Not bad for the price, but the bearings are stiff, so you have to apply a lot of pressure between the centers to get it to engage the part and spin; otherwise, it acts like a dead center. It's also off by a factor of about. 001, which isn't too bad for larger parts but introduces a lot of vibration and chatter for long and/or skinny parts.
I have an older (inherited) lathe that was missing a few parts, one of which was this one. br>br>I've been using this for months and have had no problems with it; it works well and produces no vibrations or noise. br>br>Would recommend to others!.
