A better time would have been to buy it earlier
4/5

Wood turning is a skill I have learned on my own. With my own turning tools, as well as the cheap (15 dollars) and expensive (20 dollars) ones, I can turn anything I want. Sharpening systems and jigs I have are among the best and most reliable on the market. I hate grinding my chises, so I don't do it. It's correct that I know how to sharpen bowl gouges properly, because when my 200$ gouges come off the sharpener, I know they will last me for many hours before they need to be resharpened. don't have the time. Most of the YouTube turners show you how to use traditional tools, but they use these tools at some point to complete the work faster and with higher quality. My advice, if you don't care about the prestige and nostalgia involved with using traditional tools, and don't want to have to buy a lot of expensive sharpening equipment, try this method. Getting all three would be a good idea Three types of workers are needed a finisher, a trader, and an apprentice. I knocked off 1 star because I don't like the handle very much, it's just my personal opinion.

A Customer Service reply has not yet been received! There is a very small allen wrench head on the bolt that holds the bit
3/5

There will be a few months for it, and then it will be removed. You can reach me at The customer service department told me where I could order a dozen spare bolts 3 days ago. As long as its not stripped out, I will not wait. In their customer service department, they have not answered my requests for assistance. The tool is worthless without the bolt.

This is an excellent option for both beginners and experienced turners who are open-minded
5/5

It doesn't cost several hundred dollars to buy a new grinder and wheel, or anything else to keep my knives sharp. Now, there are a lot of cheap import carbide tools on the market which you should avoid, and only a handful of good ones, of which Easy Wood Turning was In the event that you only had one tool to turn bowls, platters, and weed pots, this tool and a few grits of sandpaper would probably be sufficient.

I have to say too, that was an outstanding turn
5/5

In order to turn bowls up to 12" x 4 1/2", I use bamboo parquet countertop material. an extremely hard wood (technically a grass) that is also mostly used as a countertop materials since it is easily built into a variety of shapes and sizes With the glue joints on the inside, it is even harder to create layer squares. I am unable to use normal high speed stainless steel (HSS) turning tools due to this reason. As I used my original set of HSS tools, I could actually feel them becoming duller. With the EasyWood carbide tipped tools, the material could be cut It's worth noting that the tools don't seem to dull much over time (but I'm sure they will over time. ). Also, not only do they cut well, they are also of Shakers made of stainless steel bar stock are square in shape This tool rest is square and has long, smooth handles that make it easier to keep the tool steady. The handles are well finished, and are just the right size for a safe grip. The carbide cutters are, of course, very sharp and robust. With a carbide cutter, I can no longer use any other kind of.

I will be using it and other Easy Wood Tools and I can't say enough about how great it feels and how well-made it is.

It is great to use these carbide tip turning tools! As opposed to stopping every 30 minutes to sharpen traditional turning tools, I would prefer to turn wood.
