Surprised in a pleasant way

This is my first time using carbide tipped turning chisels, so I decided to give them a try. It is a decent start in spindle-ed bowls and segmented vessels and I am looking forward to exploring those further. Using these tools, you will get a clean cut and a smooth A better edge is held by these tools than my HSS You can sharpen the chisel much faster by turning the cutter a quarter turn, rather than stopping to change chisel blades. My experience with these tools has been positive and I would recommend them.

I would recommend this seller as it is much cheaper than I was not expecting this tool set to be as good as it turned out to be

shafts of the tips are a much more effective design than rounded tips. It would not rotate within the handle if the locking screws were not attached. A small flaw of this set is that the case feels flimsy. Still, it does not pose a huge problem. Although it still works, it is a little outdated.
