Unfortunately, this will not be the case. We don't have a 35mm camera on hand.
do the job for me
I'm not a FORD guy. However, because the threads are made of fairly tough metal, they should work if they are not in too bad of shape.

Don't waste your money on tools you don't understand and then complain about them in your review. These aren't the kind of tap and dies you'd find at a hardware store. Use tapping oil to get the job done. One half turn back, two turns forward. Before you begin, blow the crap out of the hole. If you're looking for some long chasers, try the following: buy some. Do not treat them as if they were taps; instead, treat them as if they were faucets. They are going to fall apart. Why are you buying chasers if you don't have a wrench that will fit? If you didn't already know all of this, you might want to reconsider your DIY project. br>br>At a reasonable price, these will do the job; the only drawback is that they don't come with a case. Get it out of your system.
These do exactly what they're supposed to, which is to clean up existing threads. If you're thinking of buying these as taps, think again. You are mistaken if you believe that dies are used to create new threads. The only thing they need to do is package them in a reusable plastic box to keep them organized; the flimsy packaging they ship in is useless.
I'm concerned about the word "Restorer" in the title. The taps were all I used. The average user should figure out how much it will cost to tap holes. The tap handles are not included in this set. The tap heads are hex and range in size from 7/16" to 5/8" (large). The drill bits for the taps are odd sizes that aren't commonly found in general purpose assortments, so they're not included. Handles are also required for the dies that I have not yet used. I was able to tap two different sizes of holes in aluminum after purchasing the extra items.
Tools of high quality! These were returned to me. The tools themselves seemed to be of good quality, but the "impact resistant styrene" tray didn't seem to be. One of them had a small crack in one corner (I purchased both the SAE and Metric kits). If you don't mind not having a tray or having your tools in a case, these should be fine. These didn't pass the muster because I prefer my tools to be organized.
The case, on the other hand, serves no purpose. I ended up stuffing the tools into a zippered pouch, which makes finding the right size a pain. How difficult would it be to incorporate a low-cost blow-up device? molded plastic case, as with all Chinese tools? I'd gladly pay the additional two dollars. I'm not sure if manufacturers understand how mechanics use their tools. If you're listening, Lang, think about how frustrating it is to be irritated by something so simple to get right.
Because of the low price, I ordered these for my home garage, and they are said to be identical to the snap-on version. These appear to be the same pieces as the snap-on set I have at work. The packaging is cheap and flimsy. The fact that I got two 1/4-pounders is my biggest gripe. I'm missing a 5/16-inch die out of 28 total. I'd like to get the 5/16-inch-thickness-thickness-thickness I don't want to return the entire kit because I need it right away.
For the home mechanic, these are a lifesaver. Unfortunately, I've already used them a couple of times to correct cross-references. holes that are threaded What pisses me off is the case they arrive in. It's practically useless and won't hold all of the pieces. It's impossible to keep all of the parts in the original package secure.
This is the best solution after attempting to repair damaged threads on bolts with a tap and die set. I also used a reamer to remove any burrs on the bolt's end before starting the thread chaser. In less than 15 minutes, I was able to complete my project with eight bolts. This is unquestionably the best tool for repairing damaged bolt threads. I also used the thread chasers on threaded rod that I had cut with a hacksaw, and the thread started easily.
