I ordered the wrong thing

I didn't realize there was a difference between a "pipe thread" and a "straight thread" when I ordered this item. This item was returned because the straight thread version was what I wanted.

Make certain you understand the distinction between NPT and NPS threads

I purchased it because I couldn't tell the difference between NPT and NPS. It wasn't Amazon's fault that I couldn't use it; if you're trying to make lamp parts out of standard 1/8" - Get a tap that makes NPS threads if you have 27 ferrules.
