Wrong image; the image is of a bottom tap, which is exactly what I was looking for.

A bottom tap isn't an option

Tap is a well-made product, but the image is deceiving. The picture shows a bottom tap, but you'll get a plug tap instead. will not sink to the bottom of the hole you're tapping. To make it work, I had to make a few changes.

It was snapped

I snapped this in a head on my engine and it'll never come out again. If you're going to tap a hole, go slow, use small turns, back it out and in a lot, and use cutting oil.
