"Jack of all trades, master of none" is a very capable tool that does everything pretty well, but nowhere near as well as a dedicated one. As a result, I do not regret my decision to purchase I would buy from them again 10 times out of 10.

It has not been an issue for me to be disappointed with Klein Tools equipment or value. Compared to the cheap strippers, these are expensive, but having used the cheap strippers for daily use, I know how badly they can build up if you use them too often. The Klein Kurve was a mystery to me until I had a chance to use a tool that used Because it feels more comfortable in my hand as well as giving me better control, I find it more convenient. The right thing to do is this Although the curve can be used either left or right-handed, I believe it still works in your favor regardless of your choice of hand. It is made of thick stamped steel instead of the dime store design that you might have used previously. The only material I use for it is copper as it was intended, and I have not experienced any problems with dulling or misalignment with it. Although you can use the rubberized handle for hours without any discomfort, it feels good in your hands. Since it opens easily with one finger, even though it doesn't have a spring loaded mechanism, it can be operated with one hand, and there is a stop built in to prevent it from opening beyond your grasp. As I like that I don't have to switch between tools to make scotchlok connections with these, I like that feature. Although they aren't ideal for scotchloks (as with any combination tool) since you need to press them from the back, I don't carry them much anymore and prefer not to carry a separate tool for that purpose.
Perhaps I got a lemon, but these tools do not seem to be of the same quality as the Klein USA tools I have used in the past. The first problem is that they're not aligned. Whenever I cut stranded wire with the cutting section, there are always a couple of strands that are left behind. I'm not pleased with this at all. When closed, there is almost a 1mm gap in the blades, the crimping jaws behind the pivot do not line up properly, and the rubber handle grips fly off without much work.
In order to use this tool to strip, cut, and crimp, the jaws should be open when it is first used. The jaws of previous stripper/crimper/cutter tools have all been held open after use by a spring. Every time this Klein tool is used, it has to be manually opened. A prolonged use of this requires a lot of time and stress on the hand and fingers. Quite frankly, the lack of a return spring makes this tool an undesirable option for anyone who plans on using it on a regular basis and for anybody in a trade-related location A non-human being is the person this tool is intended for As a start. I have updated this report for 23 June 2020 as follows In trying this tool out in various situations, I have found it to be quite versatile. We are going to cut, crimp, and stripe. There is no difference between it and what I first deemed worthless. Klein's lack of consideration for tool use and human factors throughout this design suggests a lack of consideration for human factors and tool use. The grips have been stripped from this tool and it has been thrown away. Anyone who bought this tool should be entitled to a refund from Klein.
In exchange for crimping and more gauges, you give up a spring assist and lock. In my opinion, it will cut 90% of all wire sizes out there that average users will need and crimp, so I purchased it for that reason. There were gel-coated handles that were squishy in the hands This is a very comfy and likes place. No stiffness was present when it was delivered. A perfect alignment of the jaws was achieved. Now, most users can buy this stripper in lieu of two pairs to cut the same length of wire, so the cost is half that. Kudos, Klein.
As I have said before, I'm an If It Ain't Klein It Ain't Mine kinda guy and This set of tools was purchased a while back for some small electronic projects and I still have them As soon as I got them, I realized they had no spring on them and had been painted over I find that a deal breaker, and I am not willing to take it That just about makes them useless! Originally, I would have bet money that the pic showed a spring on them, but that did not turn out to be the case. The Strippers Work Fine but it's painful to have to open them again after every wire strip (For me at least). So now I don't know whether to buy another set of small strippers or not. You Have To Make Sure The Spring Is There!.
This pair of strippers is mainly because they can strip a wide range of wires and cables, predominantly small control wires and cables. In addition, I support that Klein hand tools are made in the US and appreciate most of their products. Working as an industrial motor control inside wireman, I am exposed to a great deal of industrial motor control. Power wire and small wires stored in cables can be stripped easily with these strippers. However, they fail to cut anything larger than 18 AWG coated wire. They do cut the smaller wires, but folds over many of them. The rip cord in cables will also not get cut by them. Is hardly able to fray It's a really disappointing product from a company in the USA that makes items like this. Although I may have received a bad pair, I would not buy another pair.
You can find Klein Tools here. Over time you may love them but you will eventually stop loving them. For several weeks, this was a great stripper, but as it lost edge on the cutter after moderate use, it now has difficulty cutting through Cat6 and 18/4 cables. My wire stripper has even dulled down to the actual wire stripping parts, and I know for a fact that I do not use it often as other electricians do. Unfortunately, the metal doesn't hold up very well and tends to dull very The price was not worth the money, if it was $5 less, it would have been a much better deal. Spend a little more to get one that will last several months and look nice.
Wire stripping old tools were too fragile, old, and inefficient for me, so I had to get a better tool. We are very pleased with the Klein Kurve Wire Stripper Quite sharp, clean and easy to use. It also works well on low-gauge wire. So far, I've only used it for stripping - not crimping - It is important to me to keep the Klein as new as possible since I have another crimping tool I like. It would have been useful if I had purchased this item Having such a tool would have made repairs so much simpler.
