On my breaker bar, I use the 1/2 to 3/4, and I've removed bolts that were torqued between 75 and 80 Nm. Without a hitch, I can lift 100 pounds. I don't think they'd be able to handle a powerful impact wrench or air tools, but I haven't tried.

My first review was turned down by Amazon. It's possible that this is why there are so many good reviews. See for yourself by looking at the image. br>br>I was attempting to remove a brake caliper bolt. If you have no idea what that is, know that it does not necessitate a lot of torque. After this thing broke, I switched to my little breaker bar and used a standard adapter to easily remove the bolt. That is correct. br>br> This broke, but two of the same bolts worked fine with a standard adapter. br>br>Now, here's the deal. This is the second time I've done something like this. The first set had a problem with the tip twisting off. It seemed like a bad set to me. This isn't torque rated in any way. br>br> You can get better stuff at the tool store that always has 20% off coupon there. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to mention the store's name. Schmarbor Schmreight rhymes with Schmarbor Schmreight. br>br>So let the picture decide whether it's worth it. Two sets in a year, and both of them are broken? It's difficult to believe the good feedback.
The 1/2" to 3/8" adapter snapped on the first use, just like many other 1 star reviewers. I expected a tool with an impact rating to be more powerful, but flaws do occur. Be wary of buyers!.
I believe that everyone who is snapping the reducing bits in the reviews, especially the 1/2 to 3/8, is overtorquing them. It's not necessary to put 150 ft lbs through a 3/8 inch drive just because these adapters allow it. Any half-in-drive torque wrench I've ever owned has a maximum torque of around 150 ft lbs. You shouldn't use a 3/8 drive or a reducer if you need to put that torque through something. It won't break if you use a 1/2-inch or larger.
The image conveys a lot. I would not squander my funds in this manner.
Junk. The first time I used this Neiko 3/4 to 1/2 inch socket reducer, it broke. It snapped right out of the box when I tried to torque a bolt to 250 pounds with a torque wrench. What a scumbag. I'll never buy Nieiko again, despite the fact that I've purchased a lot from them in the past. They've become disoriented because there are a million tool-making companies out there.
There is an existing manufacturer. The 1/2 to 3/8 reducer snapped in half after I bought it and used it twice. I checked the manufacturer's website and found that they don't have a website or any other means of contact, so I'm disappointed that Amazon would sell a product with no way of getting in touch with them. I'll never buy another NEIKO product again. Purchase from a reputable manufacturer to save money.
Worst day ever, I used the 3/4 to 1/2 adaptor and it broke, so Easley I'd say 50ft lb these are junk and the company expects me to do all the work to return and deal with there terrible product I need this adaptor today and the company expects me to wait weeks.
Junk from China for sale. Is it possible to give it a score? Not by a long shot. I was using it with a standard socket on a 2' breaker bar with one arm, thinking the bolt was giving way, but it was actually the adapter twisting off.
