It appears to be of good quality, and it worked well the first time I used it. br>One issue I'm hoping to resolve is the fact that I didn't get a 15/16 deep socket. I was given two 7/8 deep sockets instead. br>If I had received everything correctly, I would have given this a five-star rating. br>br>Prior to the following updates, I used My socket set a lot more, and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by the set's quality. I was expecting a poor performance when I bought them, but I've used "higher quality" sockets that didn't feel nearly as good as these! This is a purchase I would make again, and I will look to Neiko for future tool purchases as well. br>br>**Update 02/20/20*
I can't just get the one correct socket I'm looking for. I'm going to have to go back and replace the entire set. While this is inconvenient, I don't have to return the old set until I receive the new one, which is convenient, and shipping is only one day with Prime. br>br>**UPDATE 02/21/20*
I received the replacement set today. I double-checked every socket and it appears that I received all of the correct sockets this time; however, I'm going to give it 4 stars because of the inconvenience of having to replace it. Getting the set replaced, on the other hand, was a fairly straightforward procedure. br>br>**Update 08/15/21*
The quality and feel of these sockets continue to impress me. One problem I've encountered is that the printing on my most frequently used sockets is beginning to fade. They're also engraved, so it's not a big deal, but it does make them a little harder to spot when they're not in the case.

This is a large set of impact sockets for heavy-duty use. If the distributor acts responsibly, I will change my rating. First and foremost, this impact set is enormous, heavy, and well worth the money. The case, with 60 thick impact sockets, a ratchet, and a few adaptors, is a HEAVY item, according to everyone. In my opinion, the case is excellent. Because it has latches not only on the front but also on the sides, a thicker matt over the top of the sockets will help keep everything in place. br>br>Now for the problem: it appears that Neiko has a quality control issue, as many people, including myself, have received incomplete sets. In my case, the short 7/16th socket was missing and there was an "extra" 9/16th short socket. br>I contacted Amazon, and they told me that the only option is to return the set and get a new one - Here's the deal: these aren't Amazon-packaged and come in a plastic bag. So, even if I exchange it, I can't guarantee that I'll get the entire set. br>I contacted the Dristrubtor, Ridgerock Tools, and they stated that they would "get back to me. " We'll see how things turn out. Meanwhile, I'm hoping that the 7/16th isn't required for my strut replacement this weekend on my truck. br>br>Recent changes - James Song called me within 30 minutes of contacting Ridgerock Tools and resolved the ISSUE, so I changed my review to 5 stars solely for CUSTOMER SERVICE. He stated that they have extra sets just in case the manufacturer fails, and that the missing socket will be sent out TOMORROW. WHAT AWESOME customer service, which is unfortunately becoming increasingly rare.

There aren't any size differences. The case is the only drawback. These sockets are in excellent condition. made CR- V steel. While some people are critical of CR-, others believe it is a good idea. Because it is more brittle than CR-, it allows for a thinner socket while remaining harder. Both materials have benefits, but these sockets are quite good and not overly thick around the edges. These are more than adequate for the average consumer or even mechanic, and they are far safer than using non-certified products. CR's effect An impact wrench with V sockets. Are there any drawbacks? br>br> Yes. It's a dreadful situation. The sockets were strewn all over the case when it arrived, and I had to organize them by hand because they wouldn't stay put. You'll need to rehome these sockets to a different case or some socket organizers if you want them to be mobile. br>br>Aside from that, they are laser etched, which can be viewed as an advantage or disadvantage; the material is unaffected, but the etching can wear out over time or become covered in grime; it's a case of pick your poison. br>br>Overall, I'm thankful for this kit. I like that it comes with a decent ratchet, too, because my Dewalt socket set is missing a few rarely used sizes like 20mm, which this kit has (no size skips, which I appreciate!). Excellent value for money, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality sockets for light to medium-duty applications.

When this socket set (02448A) arrived, I was astounded and floored because it was FAR LARGER and HEAVIER than I had expected. These plugs are a little too big. These things are well-built, and they're probably better suited to working on SEMI trucks than standard repair/assembly work. If you need TRUE HEAVY DUTY, this set is for you. br>br>I have no doubt these will last. Otherwise, due to their size, you may not be able to use them for certain jobs; however, I consider this to be more of a personal error than a product flaw.

All of my vehicle repairs are also completed by me. I bought this set along with a DeWalt impact because it was the most complete and affordable set I could find at the time. I've used it to replace control arms, tie rods, struts, wheel bearings, and exhaust so far, and it's already paid for itself with just the first job. The build quality appears to be excellent, and it has become a permanent fixture in my garage.

I'm one of those guys who prefers to have everything in its proper place, and this socket set is no exception. It irritates me when tool sets skip sizes; I had to purchase a wrench set just to obtain an 18mm wrench. Because the set was $30 and a single wrench was $10, I purchased the entire set, which I despise. This set includes everything you need. It's packaged in a decent box. When it arrived, the case was open with sockets strewn about, but it wasn't broken. The quality appears to be good, and the range of sizes available is reasonable. It also has deep and shallow sockets, which I like. I would buy this set again because it is so good for the price.
