had trouble finding the 12 point 1/4" 1/4" drive socket I needed for the 12 point 1/4 x 28 bolt that I use for low profile clamps on my milling machine. Because it's 12 points instead of 6, I didn't think I would have much luck finding this socket. Despite its small outside diameter, I am able to use a 1/4" drive ratchet to tighten my clamps because I have ample room for it. I have no slop with my 12 point bolt head due to the fit being exact. In appearance and finish, it is quite nice. Out of the box, it works flawlessly.

My 14 mm nut had to be removed, and my socket got it off in a flash, quickly and easily! Nuts do not stand a chance against us.
I used this to remove training wheels from a kids bike and its manual said to use a 15mm hex bit. It was way too large for the bolts and could not grip them. Dynacraft was the manufacturer of the bike.
