It has an overall length of three inches, which is exactly what I ordered and received. My half-inch wide tape measure measured 2 and one sixteenth inches when I inserted it into the opening. I hope this information is helpful.
One and one half inches
My 92 Volvo 960 with a 36mm axle nut worked perfectly on that, but I am not sure if it will work on yours.

Instead of being an idiot like other people and giving it 1 star because I didn't buy the right item, I'll give it 5 stars. It is called several different things, depending on what type of socket is needed. The thin-line is referred to by some companies as the thin-line The socket has a wall on one side. There are those who describe it as The specialized socket is shown in the photo below, and you can see how it has less material for it to fit into Fiat hubs that don't fit normal hubs. I suppose I could just take it to the lathe and remove some of the.
I had bought a budget priced socket as I thought I would only need it once or twice eventually on my daughters Honda Accord axle nuts, but after I used the budget priced socket the slop on the shaft was significant, and I measured it as 36mm. You don't want to use something with a 9+mm to break 250-mm things Three hundred square feet This torque is measured in pounds. Tekton is my favorite company, I have purchased numerous torque wrenches, extensions, wrench sets, hardware and accessories and all are perfect. I waited outside for the UPS guy to arrive so I could install it onto the axle nut and it fit perfectly without any The diameter of the pole was 1000 feet The lb impact gun was used to remove those stubborn axle nuts that I could not get off with spraying with PB blaster for 3 days, heating up with MAP gas for 15 minutes and even a 2 foot breaker bar with a 2 foot long pipe on it. With this socket, I was able to handle the torques generated by my impact and the stuck axle nut without issue. In less than 40 seconds I was able to remove both nuts. The next time I use a Tekton tool, I won't worry about a few dollars even if it's just once since I'm sticking with them.
These were purchased to be used on lug nuts. They arrived quickly with Amazon Prime and they seem well built. There are however two reasons that make me return it (2) the size of the socket is not etched into the ring. As stated in the description, laser etching was performed. In reality, the label is not actually embedded into the finish of the piece. It is just printed on top of the size. As time passes and the hardness of the tool wears away, there will be no way to choose the right socket if the printing is worn away, as it typically occurs over time with use. There is noticeable play on the lug nut (2). Perhaps that is normal, or perhaps it isn't. One reviewer, however, suggested it may actually be a standard size socket that has been rebranded so as to appear Based on.
It's only been a couple of years since I started using them. As a result, this brand provides more value because it is much cheaper, while the sockets are also very durable and fit well on most fixtures. My first one has never been broken. They make sure that sockets marketed to consumers are marked externally, which makes it easy for customers to find them. Working with automobiles and engines has been my profession for around 45 years now. Nowadays, I tend to laugh at what is invented. I find it so much easier to work on engines and such with it. The sockets are labeled big on the outside. Another option is to use a special socket that fits over the long studs. Years ago, one had to simply grin and bear You got skinned up around your knuckles. Nowadays, gloves are used and they are required to use all kinds of protective equipment. It is the best socket to get if you want a good, basic socket that is well made and fits accurate. Those harbor freight sockets may prove to be challenging if you're looking for some challenge. When turning the fittings, they have a lot of play and don't fit well. Despite their high durability and long lasting nature, these sockets are very affordable. Before I lose or misplace it, if it breaks at all, I will lose it or misplace it. When driving, I hear a clunk and i wonder if my tools have been lost or lost inside the inner fenders of cars. My tools cannot be found when they are inside the inner fenders of cars. I think that must have been in a.
It is true that the 1 1/16 part matches the true size, but due to the large outer diameter of the entire socket, it would not fit into the cutout atop my water heater for the anode rod. My socket would not fit in the hole far enough away from the anode rod to even reach it. In the mean time, I will be looking for a thin wall socket.
". *Update went to Oreilly's auto parts store and found their socket to be just a hair under 35mm. That was even sloppier than this one. My understanding is that manufacturers add this much slop to tools, but I guess this socket will be as good as they get
Socket looks great but I thought it was cro vanadium, but I purchased it thinking it said cro According to what I heard, moly doesn't last for as long as vanadium does, so that must be why harbor freight uses a lot of vanadium in all of their stuff. Nonetheless, please take a look at this image. Exactly the opposite of what I'm looking for. Additionally, I measured wall to wall with my measuring caliper and it came out to 34 inches. Between age 5 and The nut fits on a 34mm bolt pretty loosely because it is 6mm thick. There is no way to get around it for me. It's 32mm in diameter thanks to a 32mm socket that I measured from Harbor Freight. A 2mm overhang is twice as sloppy, so an extra 2mm is sloppy twice as much? Neither of those makes sense to me, so I won't accept them. It's time to go to the store and buy a better socket I'll use my caliper.
When I ordered this I wanted to remove the CV Axle bolt from my SUV, which it did to perfection. There is only one problem, however it is either so heavy, or the tolerances are so loose that it will fall off of my breaker bar if pointed toward the ground, making it difficult to pick it up if I forget to hold it. This is a brand-new Dewalt 23" breaker bar (which I bought for the job as well) with the spring assist feature Loaded retaining ball (which almost all of them have, but I could see people wondering if the load ball was missing on my breaker bar since the sockets "fell off" when it was tapped).
- Taking a dig at Dewalt here), but I felt the extra-large tolerances were justified by.
On my 2004 Jeep Wrangler, I had to change out my bearings. We got the job done with 36 MM impact. This socket is probably never going to be used again, it's rather large, and it's not ideal for mechanics or people who have to make many large repairs. But it's a great price and I couldn't have pulled it off without it. As a result of reading several reviews, I was advised to buy the TEKTON brand, and for what it's worth, I have no complaints about it.
