I would still recommend them even just for their markings. The markings on them are large and easily visible, so it is easy to determine just which one to choose. It is difficult to make out the markings on the chrome sockets I have because they are etched or stamped very small. In addition, the more recent sockets I have purchased seem to rust very quickly, and the rust seems to affect the etched or stamped size marks most of all. As I haven't used these sockets for long enough to comment on their toughness, I haven't had time to test their durability. I don't remember having any break in the short time I have had them, but so far none have rounded off or broken. The manufacturer should read these reviews and consider making the markings even larger if they read them.

It is easy to read sizes that are clearly marked. This is a very good deal for a Tekton product. I dislike 12 point sockets, but you don't have any choice when the bolt size on flywheels is 12 point!.
DIY enthusiasts are always in search of SAE 12 point deep sockets. There is a significant difference between 12 and fewer point sockets I found no rounding of the corners on the bolts or nuts. It seemed to be a well-made product and the plastic case appeared to be okay.
With this set from Tekton, I now have the full range of standard and deep socket adapters in 6 point and 12 point, and I'm happy with the quality, the variety of sizes, and knowing I'll have it on hand should I need it in the future.
So far, these sockets have worked just fine for me after I have heavily utilized them for a month. The socket set in this set is the perfect addition to your weekend warrior's toolbox for DIYers, and this comes from an automotive tech who works with the set. TEKTON's lifetime warranty has yet to be used, but it appears that the company sticks to their word. They come in a cute plastic case, and every socket is labeled with its size.
