With this socket, I was able to remove a severely rusted anode rod from a Suburban water heater that had seized. There are apparently some previous owners who liked rusted-in parts more than routine preventative maintenance. This socket broke it free in 90 seconds! I tried lots of tools, but this one did the trick!.
