I'm not sure how long it was. It lasted far too little time, so I switched to the sk locking type.
No, it isn't plated in chrome.
It has a 1/2" drive on the DeWalt impact gun I have. A 1/2" to 1/4" adapter is required if you want to adapt a 1/4" drive socket. I wouldn't recommend using this impact on sockets with a 1/4" drive.

This was purchased specifically to aid in the replacement of a valve cover gasket. I didn't want to waste any more time or energy on the valve cover's bolts, which numbered around 22. I used a small breaker bar to break torque before connecting it to my Hitachi cordless screwdriver. It took care of them quickly and saved me the trouble of having to turn them by hand with tools and bits I already had. I'll keep using it in situations where I need to remove a large number of small nuts or bolts. Although the bit stayed in place, the 1/4 socket end was not as smooth as my 1/4 ratchets and extensions. It's satisfactory, but it could be better. It is unquestionably not a deal-breaker. breaker.
This is a must-have accessory if you want to use your power drill or impact driver to drive 1/4" sockets. I've had a lot of practice with this attachment - Many times I've misplaced it. That's why I just got a new one and made a quick video showing you how to use it. br>br>In my opinion, this is an excellent attachment because it allows you to drive lag bolts, loosen and tighten nuts, and perform any other task that a socket set can. For larger sockets, there is an additional size - In the event that you need to run whatever size socket you need at the time, you should have both attachments in your toolbox. br>br>I've never had a problem with one of these cracking or breaking. They've been hardened to the point where an impact driver won't be able to damage them. The metal will be stressed.
. br>I did not receive this product as part of a promotional offer. I purchased it after conducting some research, and this review is solely based on my personal experiences with the product.
Trying to use a socket wrench with a screwdriver (manual or powered) is always frustrating because I can't seem to find the small adapter that fits in the screwdriver and accepts sockets. This adapter is visible, easy to locate, and can easily be stored in the case with other screwdriver bits until needed. Great price for a tool to keep on hand to avoid time-consuming searches and to make using sockets with screwdrivers a breeze.
It's in the same box as the broken driver. Take a look in the box that was given back to you. It's probably not any good if it's as good as the driver.
This was exactly what I needed to set some hex head screws, and it works great with 1/4 drive sockets. When the first one went missing in the mail, Dewalt was gracious enough to send a replacement for free. Dewalt's standard of excellence.
It's too small and the connection isn't secure.
Everything made by DeWalt (to my knowledge) is stamped with their logo, including a simple impact Philips head bit that has no markings other than china. I highly doubt it was made by DeWalt.
A standard 1/4" socket can be easily attached to a 1/4" hex impact wrench with this adapter. It was exactly what the doctor had prescribed. This makes me extremely happy.
