So I was finally bitten by the "1 click" button. I had no idea where this came from when it showed up on my doorstep. My roommate had inquired about a basic tool kit that could be obtained for a low price. I believe I placed my order while scrolling. I have six full-size tool chests (yes, standing ones) stuffed with top-of-the-line equipment. Despite this, I did not return it. The reason for this is as follows: br>br>I work with a lot of different tools. Even more so than the majority of experts. At work, I'm a general contractor, and at home, I'm a woodworker, a gunsmith, and an all-around tinker. br>br>Why would I recommend this set to anyone who doesn't mind spending $20? Because these tools are only marginally better than the standard/acceptable tools found in big box stores. I'm sure I've gotten at least ten emails. a total of 20 tool kits for a very low price from- China is complete garbage. Like the kind that, in many cases, will not even get you by in an emergency. This isn't the case. These are what I'd call a perfect starter kit for home owners. The steel used in these tools, especially in the bit set, is extremely hard. In the month of April, I broke, damaged, or rendered useless six screwdrivers. The bit set that comes with it is of higher quality and durability than any no-name brand you'll come across. Although the Allen wrenches are a little softer than the rest of my tools, Allen keys aren't designed to take a lot of punishment. You can't go wrong here if you stick to putting furniture together, hanging things up, maybe a little appliance work, and so on. You might be able to do some light duty mechanic work if you know what you're doing. When you add a drill and a saw to the mix, you've got a lot of options. br>br>This kit is designed to cover as many bases as possible with the fewest number of pieces. Instead of a metric and SAE socket set, for example, they include the odd SAE size that would be the metric. I wish (in some cases) that many of my more expensive tools could do this. The Allen keys are in the same boat. A 6mm Allen key is not included. 1/4" is usually too large, but they include a 6mm hex bit that can be used in its place. br>br>If you only have $20 to spend on a tool or tool set, make it this one - You will not be disappointed.

I've spent years around high-end tools and couldn't bring my stocked tool chest with me when I moved because I couldn't afford it. I needed something to keep on hand for small projects, and this set fits the bill. Yes, I'll upgrade or ship my tools across the country in the future, but for now, this set will do. The weekend warrior will appreciate it. I've used it to hang my flat screen television and to clean out my PlayStation 3. A set that doesn't claim to be more than it is, and for that I have respect.

I was looking for a small tool set to use around the house for a couple of home improvement projects. I searched the store and the internet until I found Cartman 148-. Set of tools in various sizes. I usually hire craftsmen and didn't want to squander any funds. I decided to buy this tool set after doing some research. It's something I'm glad I got. It's a small case that can be securely stored anywhere. There's no need to be concerned about anything escaping. It comes with a basic tool for just about anything you might need, depending on the task at hand. It's helped me tighten screws, hang boards on the wall, and disassemble and reassemble a faucet. So far, everything has gone well. It appeals to my tastes. This was something I didn't have to spend a lot of money on. It was a great deal, and I would recommend it if you need a tool kit to get started or just to have on hand.

It's their first home, and as I told them, having a good set of tools on hand for all the little things that come up as a homeowner comes in handy. Putting this set together piecemeal would take a lot of time and money. I can't tell you how many times I've needed to go out and buy a tool to solve a single issue! br>br>This is a nice, sturdy set that comes in a handy storage case. They should be able to open the case and locate the tool they require to solve almost any minor household issue. With so many tools in one case, you'll be less likely to grab a single tool from the box, thinking it's what you need to fix something, only to discover that you need another or additional tool! (Can you tell I've done this before? )br>br>The tools appear to be durable and easy to use (we just took them out and played with them for a while). They may need to supplement this with heavier duty tools for a project in the future, but for the time being, this should suffice. br>br>I looked at a few sets online and in stores, but this was by far the best value for the sheer number and variety of tools in this set, as well as the price! This set is highly recommended for your basic household needs. br>br> This made the kids very happy. It may seem silly, but most people give new/first-time homeowners nice things (and I will when they finish their renovations and move in), but this is a fantastic gift that anyone would appreciate having when something unexpected breaks!.
