The tool works really well

Everything about these pliers is great, except the jaw will not lock in place in the fully open position it slides out of place. Other than that, all the other positions lock in place properly, but the flaw meant it lost points.

It's cheaper to buy the regular adjusting ones and you'll be happier

Knipex makes many excellent products, but this is not one of the best. There is a premium for having the slide move so tight that it does not fit. It would be more convenient for me if there was a manual adjustment. It is overpriced for the quality of the.
