Are you looking for groovelock? jaw? I'd appreciate it if you could respond as soon as possible?

Yes, they are groovelocked by depressing a button on the back end of the jaws that allows you to slide the adjustable arm so that the jaws are separated enough to encircle whatever you want to rotate. move. The jaws are set when you let go of the button. This pair of pliers has a slight "v-" shape to them. jaw". Other, similar pliers, such as those made by Irwin (and sold by Amazon), use an almost identical mechanism, are made of slightly softer steel, may not have as comfortable handles as these excellent" Comfort Grip" pliers, and are, of course, less expensive. My Knipex pliers, I assume, will be passed down to my heirs.

You can't go wrong with these pliers
5/5

I purchased the 12", 10", and 7" pliers, all of which are excellent pliers. After watching these pliers in action for 5 minutes on YouTube, you'll want the entire set. br>br>The 7" is good for smaller items, while the 10" is the one I'd choose if I had to choose just one. The 12" is a significant increase in size over the 10". br>br>The red/blue comfort grip versions are far more user-friendly. obtain a copy of that version.

Unbelievable coming from a union electrician who prefers to support American businesses
5/5

As a union electrician, I try to buy American made products as much as possible, but I also care about doing a good job and having the tools that make me effective, and I can't believe how well the Knipex products are, they are on another level, and as much as I'd like to buy American, I'm going to buy everything Knipex from now on. I hope Klein or another company that builds American tools can catch up, but I'm sure most of them will ship their building overseas and making.

Pliers are fantastic! I work in the HVAC industry, and although it appeared to be too small at first glance, I threw in my Veto TP4 anyway
5/5

These small pliers turned out to be the perfect size for me and can handle the majority of my tasks. They're ideal for working on inside disconnects and the condenser when I'm doing an installation. I find myself reaching for them at least once or twice a day; I love how comfortable the comfort grip handles are in my hands. I also like the bright colors because they are easy to spot if they are placed on a table. They don't take up a lot of space in my bag, are lightweight, and are simply fantastic pliers. The pliers' shape and size enable them to work in tight spaces. I adore these little guys and would gladly buy another pair if they became available.

I'm very pleased with the quality of their tools and the craftsmanship that went into them
5/5

I recently decided to upgrade my tool set from Lowe Depot's consumer-grade tools to something more durable, and I chose Knipex as the result. I am extremely pleased with the quality and workmanship put into their tools, having already switched over a handful of them. When the teeth are closed, there is no side play on either side. I also prefer the comfort grip handles to the regular rubber coated ones because they are more comfortable to use and fit my hands better. I also like how the adjusted length doesn't slip back up when you use them; instead, it locks into the desired opening. My previous adjustable pliers, even those that "locked," would only prevent them from getting larger while in use, but they would always revert to a smaller opening while in use. These become stuck and prevent up and down movement. All of this, combined with the tool steel used in the pliers' construction, makes me think I'll be using these for a long time.

This review is based on all sizes of Knipex pliers
5/5

Knipex pliers are, without a doubt, the best I've ever used. I'm a plumber who has worked with a few well-known brands over the years. These outperform all others, but at a cost; however, if you work in a field that requires long-lasting and high-quality tools, these will suffice. I'm quite pleased with these tools, and I'd like to show them off to the other tradesmen. I started with regular grip pliers and then upgraded to comfort grip pliers. The comfort grip is much more comfortable, and you get more squeezing power, though you don't need to squeeze very hard with these pliers. They don't get stuck between the teeth or in the locking mechanism. They're small enough to fit into small spaces and tighten fasteners that aren't quite as thick. Banging knuckles and slipping plier joints are no longer a source of frustration. I currently own three types of pliers and plan to purchase the needle nose pliers in the near future. They open and close smoothly, have super-grip teeth, and are simply well-engineered. My only worry is that I'll lose them because they're expensive. I rarely break tools; instead, I leave them behind on jobs or have my helper leave them behind. The red and blue handles stand out in my tool bag, which helps with visual identification. I'm not going to give these to anyone. All of my Knipex pliers hold a special place in my heart. If you're a home owner looking for some general pliers, these are great, but they're twice as expensive as competing brands. These will help you make money if you're a tradesman looking for high quality, functionality, and durability.

There won't be any buyer's remorse
5/5

For most of my adult life, I've worked as a mechanic in some capacity, and I've learned the value of well-made tools over the years. They're usually overpriced, and some people thought knipex was the same way. Even though these are about 2 to 3 times the price of your average pair of channel locks, they will outperform any set of adjustable wrenches at any price. There are some copycat products out there that aren't bad, but they can't be beat in a direct one-on-one comparison. They're low-profile, and the button doesn't protrude far enough to cause an accidental release, as you might find with a knockoff like Milwaukee or Irwin. Spend the extra cash to have your name engraved on the shoes, and you'll never need to buy another pair.

At first, it was costly
5/5

Because of the excellent design, it continues to pay off. These are a bit on the pricey side. I continue to purchase Knipex. I'm restoring an old sailboat, and there's a lot of obstinate hardware to deal with. Everything is also corroded, at odd angles, and difficult to reach. BUT. It is not necessary to destroy everything. The grips give you good control, and the machining on the business end is meant to help you squeeze harder. Vice grips, for example, are unrivaled when it comes to getting a death grip on metal, but the metal being gripped is usually dented, crushed, or rounded off. br>br>It's actually enjoyable to use these tools.

Knipex is a brand that stands for excellence
5/5

These will outlast the competition in terms of holding worn-out fasteners. Will fit a wide range of fastener sizes and has a stronger grip than standard pliers. Just keep in mind that these will leave marks on your fasteners, but they will at least come off. These also do a fantastic job of holding pipes in place. Pay a little more for these, keep them oiled and maintained, and they'll last a lifetime.
