Would you mind telling me if these pliers wrenches are the 10" ones?

In fact, they are. The last three digits of Knipex part numbers are usually the size of the pliers in millimeters if you know how to read them. The standard measurement of one foot is 250 millimeters.

What are the differences between these "8603250 SBA" pliers and the regular ?

If the Part # includes SBA, it indicates that the product is shipped in Parts that do not have the SBA in the Part # are shipped Other than that, the products are identical.

There is no reason for the pliers to be 10 inches long if they are only 5 inches long. What is the size of the product in inches?

The kind of tool that should make an heirloom
5/5

What about the fact that tools don't last as long as they did? Snapex does this. There is nothing here like the $3 harbor freight adjustable wrench you can get at the checkout aisle. I would say that they are VERY expensive for a wrench/pliers (they are basically pliers that serve as an adjustable wrench by looking like channel locks). It is a machine constructed out of meticulous precision, however, and it works just as it should. As a result, you don't have to grind the s*it out of the fasteners you're working with, as you would with vice grips or channel locks. ". You can use them to adjust your wrench, and they are not utterly frustrating, cheap, and useless. Bottom line Although most tools do not tend to be made as they used to, I do consider these to be a MODERN heirloom. My life would have never been the same had I not been.

This is a quality tool that will last for generations

Now I understand why some people swear to always keep their eyes on a device and never want to An incident that led to my purchase started with a need for a 28mm wrench to unscrew a gas regulator nut. After doing some research, I discovered that Home Depot did not have that size wrench in any of its locations. In the end, I decided to search the internet and discovered that one wrench might cost $20. Knowing that this wrench is only needed to change gas cylinders once or twice a year, I chose Knipex Pliers, although it is more expensive. This is the first Cobra product I have purchased and used, and I'm very happy with it. I bought and use two others previously and I'm happy with them. The first pair is the slim profile Cobra Plier 10" size, and the second is the normal 12" size. With the 10" slim pair, I use them every day with my pair of channel locks to work on water pump fittings. The 12" is another pair I use when I work on water pump fittings. Although I've had the channel locks for the longest, I have to admit that they are still in use, but usually in conjunction with one of the other locks. Knipex pliers are amazing engineering works of.

Without a doubt, this is the best adjustable nut driver on the market
5/5

To treat yourself, you should buy yourself a pair of these if you don't already have one. Due to the wide adjustment range and their excellent design, in addition to their nicely machined smooth jaws, it is virtually impossible to round off nuts with them. Together with a good pocket knife, a small pair of boots and a pocket knife make a great alternative to leathermans (in my opinion far superior). Having the larger ones with you will provide you with some leverage when working with larger.

Are you a Cobra fan? These are sure to be a hit

It makes it easy to remove a variety of combination wrenches without having to carry all of them. That old adjustable wrench is nothing compared to this one. This has incredible holding power on whatever you're trying to tighten or loosen (I broke a nickel in half with it just to see what they could do). In my specialized field of heavy equipment, these fittings work on all types of hydraulic circuits. The pipe wrench and adjustable wrench are much better than a pair of combination wrenches or socket set, but won't replace a set of combination wrenches or socket sets. Keeping a wrench in your pocket is a no-brainer when you are lying under a powerful 836H compactor on a landfill and don't want to make another trip to the service truck (#trashjuice). Those who are considering these are clearly on the fence, so just go ahead and buy them and be happy with them. It's German, so it's better than Snap-on The quality of the product.

It is important to recognize these are not normal pliers, these are pliers and a wrench
3/5

The products I bought were praised on several online forums as being 'the best' and very useful for most people. Despite acknowledging that the price was excessive, and that they may not even have the longevity of some of the other tools, they insisted that once you used these tools, you would agree with them that they are the best. * I had no idea how this tool would actually function at the time. Pliers should not be used as a replacement for this tool. As a replacement for an adjustable wrench, it is more of a substitute. There are no teeth on the jaws, and they remain parallel throughout motion. Having this ability from pliers to get a solid connection can be very useful, and will prevent damage to the fastener. They are made to be used on hex bolt heads/nuts. However, you cannot use them to grab a smooth pipe since they come with a spring-attached button that feels flimsy but may be adequate for gripping pipes. Although I'm sure over time it will loosen and be easier to use, on a new tool, it doesn't adjust very well for me. This review process rates ergonomics, versatility, and value. The 3/5 rating is based on its strengths, weaknesses, and overall rating. It does have the potential to be a good substitute for a crescent style adjustable wrench. Because I am not aware of any other brands that manufacture similarly shaped parallel jaw adjustable pliers, if being the only manufacturer makes them the best, I suppose that could also be true. As you can see in the pictures, it looks like any other adjustable wrench. I mention all this so that anyone unfamiliar with the product does not mistake it for any other adjustable wrench. The other kind is also available from Knipex, and depending on your requirements, it may be a better choice.

The Knipex definitely is superior
5/5

I found out about it in an article in AutoWeek, which praised it but suggested another brand at half the price. Don't do it. Getting the cheaper one back did not work for me. It is hard to go wrong by purchasing Knipex tools, and such purchases are never a mistake. The faceted items are protected and taken care of with minimal damage even as they are loosened or tightened with ease.

The quality of the print is poor

I believe the Knipex pliers 86 03 250 were either clones or a low-quality version of the real Knipex, since the one I received was poorly constructed. The Knipex brand is known for its quality of manufacturing, which makes Knipex pliers some of the most expensive on the market. But the Knipex I got did not live up to that quality.

Those who invented the adjustable wrench finally improved it
5/5

The pliers look like they are simple tools. There is no such thing as pliers here. An adjustable wrench is replaced by these tools. As soon as you get them set for the nut, they squeeze so hard that you can tighten just like an end wrench would. to squeeze the handles as little as possible, so that the wrench relaxes and you can grip the next flat. And then squeeze down again and turn a few more times. Nuts are not damaged or rounded over by these tools. Probably the best item on the market right now. Ordered the smaller size after trying the larger.
Highly recommended.
