You have to believe me when I tell you that these cutters are fantastic! During one episode of Myth Busters, Adam Savage was able to cut a 5mm Allen wrench in half, then was able to cut anything else. There was no damage whatsoever. Since I was a kid, my nick name was Mike the bike. I used to cut or try to cut a lot of bicycle brake cables in my life, and nothing worked as well It is so hard and so precise that it seems unbelievable, but it is true! It is so great I'm looking for another pair just because of how much I love them.
The right decision has been made. There are six segments, each of which handles with rubber insulation. the addition, they would be very close to 160mm long. Which leads me to think that 160 in the Knipex model number is due to this. distance between the handle and the pivot point is 130mm (5 15/16 It has a head circumference of nine inches. A thick layer of 8mm 38.22 x 39.85 cm)- A 12 would be easily able to store it. It is about 2 inches deep before the handles intervene where they become thicker (to a depth of about 5mm or 1/2 inch). useful for a lot of things.
It is certainly possible to cut a screw of that diameter with this cutter. In preference to brass, it becomes harder as the cutter edges wear down over time. But if you are talking about steel screws (not brass or softer metals), the harder steel will eventually erode the edges. Consequently, if you plan on cutting a great deal of steel screws, you should prepare the cutters to be pretty dull pretty soon. Copper wire and softer steel wires like coat hangers are the most common materials to be cut with diagonal cutters. Faster wear means stiffer screws. Screws are made of a harder steel which means faster dulling of the cutting edge.
Probability is that it won't work. Then there are the tiny ones

I bought these cutters because they are so sturdy. I spent a little more than five dollars on these cutters, because they are sturdy enough to handle some hard materials like nails, springs, or cotter pins, but low profile enough to work on zip ties or cable/wiring, too. The reason I quit carrying around small snips was mostly because they didn't fit well in my hands, but also because I dislike the spring loaded ones (the sharp edges exposed) and didn't use them very often (I'm more of a mechanical guy who does occasional electrical work). Despite being in the middle of the range, they will cover most needs, however the jaws will be bulky if you do a lot of drilling or wiring with them I like the fit and finish of the 24AWG control panels and the like.
Perfectly machining and aligning the jaws makes it easy to use. As far as I know, these Knipex cutters have the best steel I've ever seen for pliers. I haven't used these yet but have other Knipex cutters. To prevent denting, the cutting edges are hardened to prevent chipping, but not so hard that they are easily dented. You'll likely find yourself replacing every pair of pliers in your set with Knipex over time. They're that good. Buy one pair and you'll likely replace every pair.
It's too tight and inconsistent throughout Knipex products did not stand up to my preconceptions of Knipex quality standards, though they are sure to last a lifetime of homeowner use.
The cutters I needed and two other tools I purchased were purchased at the same time. Getting them loose in a plastic bag as if the seller had ordered them in bulk surprised me a little. I don't think that the quality of the package is essential but I think that it speaks to its value. Since they are either seconds or bought in bulk, they don't appear to have been given the special attention they deserve. There was a rough surface to the metal and razor sharp edges. They serve their purpose, so I'll keep them, but don't let the "Made in Germany" label fool you into thinking this is a.
The packaging was smaller than expected, however. However, this is a good thing. The cutters are the items over which traders disagree. What are your opinions about these? Not a complaint other than size. I made a mistake by expecting them to be bigger, which was my fault. I've been using their services in commercial construction for a few months now. To put that in perspective, I use my tools almost every day, so I have never bought tools from Walmart. It's not even a brand that sells at Walmart that I buy from.
That is why, in a world where I refuse to buy into disappointment, I also The next time I buy this, I'll pick a bigger size.
The best in the business. Detail is perfect, the cutting edges are clean and sharp, the components mate perfectly, and no gaps allow light to pass through. When I tried it on a sheet of paper and a tissue, it cut it extremely cleanly, it looked like a sheet of paper had been torn with a pair of scissors. This is a smooth and controlled operation that can be used one hand with just the right amount of tension. Take a chance and try a pair. You'll never want to use anything else again.
Previously, I had a pair of dull cutters. I had to get these to replace them. I think these cutters cut much better than the old pair, but I'm not certain they would be better than any of the other new cutters. The devices are well made, however, and they work A mechanic friend of mine has raved about Knipex tools, which I purchased. The tools are German made, so I expect them to last longer than several Chinese tools of a similar price.
It caught my eye because of the different style of head and handle. Their high leverage models cut just as well as this one. A good cut is made by the sharp blades. Despite not being as small as mini sizes, this cutter gives me the option to cut in tighter places and with hard to reach cuts. I am pleased with it as a new addition to my toolbox.
To start with, they're cutters, and they do what needs to be done. Considering how simple this tool is, there are not much to say about it other than it is well-built, sharp, comfortable, and effective. Due to the fact that it's a knipex, its alignment is solid. It should last as long as you do not use it for purposes it was not intended for.
