Quality over quantity is what you should aim for when you spend your tool money. In the next step, I will purge the other pliers that I thought were good. It is a pleasure to work with them because they are so accurate. The diagonal cutters are wicked sharp. It is crazy comfortable to hold for hours on end. This was my first encounter with Knipex, so I was excited to give their product line a try. I have bought a number of their other pliers since then and I am very happy with Although all of the pliers in the set offer excellent performance, the diagonal cutters take things to a whole new level. After years of using cheap cutters, this is a real plus. I expect the set to last for a few years, but it is not inexpensive.

Its needle nose is great, comes to a point in a very precise way. Although the alligators do not have the push button locking mechanism, they are okay. I was vastly underwhelmed by the cutters, I expected so much more from them. The task of cutting a nail with a small diameter is extremely challenging. This Knipex set was below my expectations, even though I have always liked Knipex. Hindsight dictates that I would have opted to buy the needle nose separately and a better cutter separately, Most likely, if you need it, it will depend what you need.

This tool. The wire cutters in this kit are great, so I bought them mainly for that reason. Needless to say, these pliers are very useful. I find the adjustable pliers to be a silly design. In my opinion they won't last long, but as with any set of pliers, they can be of help and are a valuable asset.
